What I can recommend that you do is to contact a serious and professional Modelling agency.
They will direct you on what you willl need to do, who the ruputable photographers are, what you will need for your portfolio and tell you if they will represent you as your agent.
They also help to keep the crazies at bay.

You are pretty enough to be able to do face modelling, make up ads and campaigns and other work like catelogues etc.
high is not that much of an issue if you will be cast for print work ie: magazines.

Runway work usually has height restrictions due to the idea that fashion designers have and believe about their clothing.
They think a stick (woman) figure will be more glamorous and show their clothing line off better than if it was to be modelled on the normal height and regular sizing of the average woman. (The real Stats of women are not that of being 6 feet and above, nor do they weigh in at 125 Lbs dripping wet.

Words of Caution!!!! Watch out for the preditor.
They come in many sizes and guizes. Some are handsome, rich, intelligent, friendly, women etc.
Many people will try to imitate being professional agents, photographers, designers, stylists or friends affilatited with these people when in reality they are not.
Some will be scammers out to get what they can from you, promising you the world when in effect they will use you and abuse your youth and sense of trust for their own means and gains.

I am not trying to scare you I am just informing you a of a very real world that exists out there and I really want you to be mindfull of that reality.
I have seen many beautiful girls such as yourself get caught up into horrible situations that were bigger, stronger and uglier than they could have ever anticipated or thought of.

Playboys, White Market Slavery ( you can be sold into other regions of the world into the sex slave trade, be held captive to do the bidding of these mens sexual pleasures),
Snuff films: ( you think that you are going for a part in a movie and the scene calls for you to act dead, in actuality they kill you), Drugs, etc. This why I really want you to listen to a proffesionals point of view and to listen to them. They are there to protect you from peril as well as get you work.

Youth gives a sense of invinsibility this is natural and a beautiful thing to have, be carefull that others don't abuse this.

If you want to be a serious Model you may e-mail me for more advice if you wish to.
I do not know the city that you are in so I can not recommend one agency in particular .

How do models get the body-shape they have?: You're born with your body shape. If you're tall and thin, you're tall and thin. If you're pear-shaped, apple-shaped, hourglass-shaped, that's the shape you'll always have. Have a great workout routine, and eat right. Do NOT develop an eating disorder, do NOT smoke. What food do they eat?: Food pyramid, baby! :D Balanced diets make healthy, beautiful babes. Haha. How much to models get per show?: Depends on how big the show is, what designer, etcetera. Is being a model good?: The industry is really rough; there's a lot of pressure. They're always saying, "Oh, lose weight. Gain weight. Stop plucking your eyebrows so much." You know, things like that. And models are no different from regular people. You know, they're not actually as pretty as they look in magazines. Photos are edited carefully after they're taken, almost always, so that the model looks perfect. - Would you like to be model thin?: I was born that way. It's not that great. People ask if I'm anorexic. - Does smoking make you become model thin? Not every model smokes, and NEVER think that it's a good thing to do. Smoking will turn your teeth and your nails yellow, you will age faster, and you'll die faster. Don't start if you haven't yet. You'll have a nasty, un-modelish stench to you, it sticks to your skin, just like the tar sticks to your lungs. Don't die to be beautiful, I'm sure you already are. To really answer the question, smoking does 'fill you up', so to speak; you don't feel hungry afterwards, and so you don't eat as much. But it's definitely not a healthy habit in any way.

There are a lot of petite models. People will say that you cannot model due to your height, but this is garbage.

You would probably not get on with an agency due to your height because you need to be between 5'7" and 5'9". The agencies need this height in order to get you bookings for runway work and they want models who can do it all.

However, you can model for calendar shoots, promotional events and other modeling where height is not a concern.

If you want to learn a lot about modeling join modelmayhem.com for free and set up a portfolio on that site.

Since you need a starting portfolio, offer to model in exchange for photos on a cd. (TFP/CD = Time for photos on CD)

Never go to a shoot alone.

You are very attractive, though take it easy with makeup, agencies usually want to see the real you underneath all the makeup. Be sure not to get scammed and pay upfront fees and the like. Find a photographer in your area and have him/her take a bunch of shots of you to put in a portfolio, then hit the street!
Good Luck!

You should be able to. Like someone else said get a portfolio and put your pictures and send it to a modeling agency. Once in a while in the news paper there looking for models and normally they're looking for all kinds. Best of luck to you hope it works out for you.

Your very pretty great eyes...

Try out for Americas next top model or go to local stores and do their fashion shows to get started. Being short may be hard to be a super model but yes to other kinds of models. You need to get a portfolio with lots of diff kinds of pictures. from full body, close up, black and white, full outfits from winter to summer swim suits. indoor and outdoor, plain black background with black shirt, white background with white shirt, hair up, down, and all crazy. Do a wide range of portraits and then take them with you when you go looking for a job
