I've got the Joy, Joy, Joy, down in my Heart! I cannot express how happy I am in my faith. And have been for many years. The Lord sees me through! The Lord gives me strength, hope, comfort and protection. If it were not for my faith in him I don't know where I would be today. Please don't fear for me! I am so sorry that you lost your faith. It could not have been strong as you have said because you would never have been able to turn your back on him when the going got tough, you would have turned to him instead. You do know that God forgives and would be happy to say "welcome back my son" if you ever need him again.
Bless you too.

Okay, first of all you are right. There is a lot that is piling up now through research and the like that proves that Christianity today is not what Jesus or God intended. If the so called "Christians" would ever stop and take a look for themselves they would see this for themselves. Trinity? Decided upon by PEOPLE after Jesus was here and gone. Take a look at the bible people, one of the newer versions that has been published since new proof came out. Jesus never claimed to be the "only begotten" son of God. Jesus said that he came to uphold the law. Nobody even saw Jesus get crucified and then wrote about it in the bible. Most of the books of the bible aren't even written by who we assume they are written by. I was raised Christian, am married to a Christian and have Christian children. I began asking questions a little while back when our Pastor started teaching that most things were okay to do as long as they were done just for fun and done in moderation. Headcovering as in 1 Corinthians? Not allowed, not relevant today. Dressing modestly? Not needed, not relevent today. Dress like mainstream America, fit in. Reading Harry Potter? Go for it!! Like rock music, or christian rock? Yeah!! Let the kids go to christian rock concerts? Go for it!! I started researching and found a lot of really surprising things. Such as there are gospels left out of the bible because they didn't match what the people wanted them to say. If you read the bible (one of the newer versions) you will see that a lot of the things that the older bibles had in them is no longer there. Why? Because it has been proven that they weren't there in the original manuscripts but were later added by man. I have found the true way, and if you really read the bible and ask Allah to show you the true way he will too.

I'm not afraid of anything, except maybe burning.
I have been an agnostic and am now happily a Christian once again. I chose to be one.
Perhaps you should have embraced your faith rather than trying to put a wrestling hold on it.
I wish you a happy eternity, wherever you wind up spending it.
Thank you for you blessing. Bless you as well.

Sweetie, Satan has got you deceived. I don't have to leave Christianity to know what it's like to be an Atheist. Been there done that. You say you feel like a bird let out of a cage, that is exactly how I felt to be free of my sin and no longer enslaved to it. Yes there are a lot of so called experts and such claiming things like Jesus never existed so on and so on. This type of thing has been going on forever but it always turns out to be lies. You've been reading and watching the wrong stuff. I recommend The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel and The Signature of God by Grant R. Jeffery for starters. Truth is your may never have been truly yeilded to Christ. The Bible says once we are saved we are sealed...
Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persueded that neithr death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.1 John 2:19
Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you, will complete it untill the day of Jesus Christ.
Christians are sealed with The Holy Spirit and nothing can separate them from the love of God. There is no such thing as an x Christian.
You claim you were "Spirit filled". No one who has truthfully experienced The Holy Spirit could ever claim not to believe in God in my book. What were you filled with, then, if it wasn't the Holy Spirit of God? That makes absolutely no sense.

definite, it relatively is because of the fact of that. i've got not been non secular myself and so i'm no longer able to talk from own adventure here. in spite of the indisputable fact that, there are some issues you are able to think of approximately: case in point, evaluate what share different variations of Hell have been proposed in the time of human historic previous. have you ever apprehensive approximately being taken to Hades? Or Xibalba? Or closed area? those are all variations of Hell from numerous different religions. in all probability you have unquestionably no concern of them. in all probability you have never even heard of maximum of them. So what makes the christian hell so particular which you opt to be petrified of it? no longer something. it is not particular. it relatively is in simple terms as imaginary as each and every of the others. as quickly as you recognize that, you do no longer could be scared anymore.

I don't understand why you were looking for a way out, when you say you loved Jesus for 10 years of your adult life. My husband & I have been married for 24 years, I love him and he loves me, so why would I look for a way out of our marriage? That's essentially what you're saying. You had a relationship with Jesus that lasted 10 years, but then found a way out of the relationship. Following Christ involves committment and sacrificing those things in our life that are not pleasing to Him. Could it be this is the reason you walked away?

My friend the very fact that you have forsaken Jesus tells me you were never truly born again in the first place. The Bible clearly teaches once saved always saved.I don't have time to give a full explanation, but I have provided a link for a sermon that describes this very thing using Biblical support. I urge you to listen to it. You were a false convert. Out of love for you, repent, turn from your sins and put your faith in Christ.

I love being a Christian. He has healed my body, set me free from demonic possession and given me so much joy. Before becoming a Christian, I was suicidal and very unhappy, even though I had much materially. I would never turn my back on Jesus, I need Him too much. God Bless you too.
