Ever since i recieved God's precious gift, (eternal life) I just can't read the Bible enough, it is awesome. I gave my heart and entire life to Jesus on july 20th. of this year and i just want to share his love with everyone. I want to tell everyone who don't know God that he is very, very real. I came to find that we have to watch what we say on here or else we will get reported. But i don't care about being reported because Jesus loves us so much that he died on a cross after being tortured beyond humanity just so we would have eternal life with him and our father God so i think it is the least i can do to try and bring as many souls that will come before him. I can't hardly wait for that awesome day, but i do pray that everyone who hears about him will be saved as well.

As you may know, reading the Bible will not save you no matter how much you read it. You are only saved when you first come to the place of knowing and trusting in Jesus as your Savior. Since God first loved us, we instinctively have His love and willingness to trust in Him inside all of us. Many just choose to reject God. It sounds like in your first sentence that you are saying we can't love God and salvation. I'm sure that's not what you really mean. The point is, if we truly want God in our lives, we will accept His gift of salvation because we want Him to always be with us. Then you ask, "Then what use is there after being saved?" Being saved is just the beginning. Once you are saved, you should want to serve Him by spending time with Him and you should have the desire to tell others about Him. God Bless : )

I love your aviator name.....wish I had thought of that! How cool! Yes, I do love God. I don't appreciate Him enough especially now. Life has been very rough this year, and I need to lean on Him more than I do. I'm sure things would get easier, but I just feel unworthy alot of times to ask for help. Ya know what I mean? Well, that's all.

Just out of curiousity... you DO realize that what Jesus went through was not that unusual, right? It was one of the standard operating procedures for people who were crucified (and the Romans crucified a fair number of people). Lots of "criminals" (in the eyes of Rome) suffered the way that Jesus did.
I just wanted to give you a bit of historical perspective on your claim. I hope Christianity proves to be a wonderful and fulfilling faith for you. Best of luck to you on your path.

Do you not care for people who don't hear about him, or people who do, but don't believe? What you wrote made me laugh until I realized just how unintentionally cold (out of naivety perhaps) you really come off. Don't worry what others say. Jesus said we would be persecuted for following Him and standing up for Him. Satan has blinded so many people into believing that God and Jesus doesn't exist.
Just keep having that personal relationship with God. He is awesome! Praise the Lord!

Take this feeling and bottle it up for the day when the good feelings dry up and you must live on faith. Christians will be tested both by bounty and poverty (both spiritual and material).

Bless you sister. I love to see such love for the Lord! I too love to read my Bible, I read it every day, havent missed a single day since September 2001. Sin will keep you from the Bible, but the Bible will keep you from sin! Thank you Lord for your precious word!!!!
