If so, please link it. It would be like witnessing a miracle for me because I'm getting very disillusioned with the sheer ignorance these people "think" up.

This isn't an attack, I really want a link. I have hope.

AnArdRi: Yah, It's sad, Y!A is mostly a waste of web resources.

Joey K; Oh I know, I know... GAWWWWWWWWD did it!

I like your kind of intellectual dishonesty and ignorance. If everybody thought like you there be no reason for science. People would be performing surgery with Bibles and they would be praying for Jesus for levitation instead of thinking and inventing a plane.

Seriously dude, read a fawking science book.

And stop copy pasting BS from a creationist website. Try thinking for yourself, it's liberating.

You have to differentiate between those whose questions who contain logical fallacies but they're genuinely questioning and trying to get information versus those who are committed to their logical fallacies and are basically trolls asking snide non-questions.

I've seen genuine questions from people who believe in creationism but are open-minded enough to investigate in the Biology forum under Science & Mathematics. Unfortunately I don't have a link, but you should use the advanced search feature to look at previous questions.

Of course for every genuine questioner there's way too many non-questions from baiters and trolls. However, at least those who bother to go to Science & Mathematics seem more interested in getting real answers.

I've never seen a sincere evolution question asked under R&S and have pretty much given up on ever seeing one here. I just read the questions posted out of morbid curiosity these days, because in my experience trying to answer them sincerely is a waste of effort. But some of the attempts at forming a coherent argument are quite charming in their own sick, perverse way.

If You have hope, then why do You agree that Y/A is a waste? And why bother posting a question -- isn't it just a waste? You mention "hope" and "miracle" as though You are a theist in disguise. Spend some time with Yourself and find out who You are before You put down on "these people." That's hate language. Maybe You see only the ridiculous because that's all You're looking for and the only part You remember.

Ms Moo, i'm sincerely sorry You let certain elements of this crowd beat You into hamburger. I have found good, sympathetic answers on both sides of every issue here, and You must see that, too.

I gave up on it. I haven't seen one that didn't come down to a literalist view of the Bible (funny how you don't see any other religions pulling this BS). I can't say I'm an expert nor that I'm highly intelligent when it comes to Evolution, but even I can get the jist of it. And if I can do it, anyone who knows how to read can as well.... It's amazing just what these people will come up with to justify the literal belief in a book that doesn't even call for literal belief.

They will still take this question as an attack. How dare you question them! You should JUST BELIEVE! *Sigh* It reminds me of that saying "if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything"... that is so wrong it's not even funny, because those people do stand for something and fall for anything someone else tells them about it without ever looking into it themselves.

You would not suppose it given that you are not able to appreciate a logical fallacy. You aren't intelligent adequate to drag this crap off within the truly international becuase nobody quite cares so stop at the same time you're forward. Blah blah blah blah (brp) agapefromnc

No. I think it would be funny if we could convince them to go to the biology section with some of these questions. But I bet the people there would probably be laughing too hard to give them a good answer.

Sure, you don't need a link for that, here is the question.

Is evolution a theory?

No fallacy there, and only one correct answer.

How can people thumb downs my response? It's 100% accurate.

Also, I love when people complain about other not having original thought. Who are are you Darwin?

Often it's not that their logic is flawed, just their information. Many creationists are purposefully ignorant rather than unintelligent.

Logical fallacies flit around here like butterflies. They come from every angle.
