I'll bet that 'I am no Girly Man' don't eat buttered popcorn! Not with those canons.
It's probably the salt you are most attracted to. It is used in teh bible metaphorically to signify permanence, loyalty, durability, fidelity, usefulness, value, and purification.
Ezekiel 16:4: "And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all."
So... being a big green baby..... you need a good application of salty substances... so say the bible.
Now.... so as not to be confused about the popcorn....
Luke 14:34-35: "Salt is good, but if salt itself loses its taste, with what can its flavor be restored? It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out. Whoever has ears to hear ought to hear."
So you see.. this reference is a reference to ears of corn, quite obviously. I had no idea you were so spiritual.

Considering how big the Aztecs were on popcorn, I suggest you pray to their corn god...Centeotl.
He might be able help you out :)
And I'm serious about the Aztecs and their popcorn...they even made necklaces out of it.

Jude 1:17-19
But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

Consider yourself blessed. There are much worse things to get addicted too. Try laying off the butter, or switching to caramel corn.

Why not pray to the God you believe in? Very likely the same one God that I and countless others believe in, though some us may call Him by a different name.

Buttered popcorn is so much better for you than any number of other things to which you could become addicted. I'd stick with it
or maybe sprinkle a little grated cheese on the popcorn when it first comes out.

Buttered popcorn, eh? I imagine the prayer is more important than the image you pray to, if that makes any sense.
Maybe pray to Orville Redenbacher...? Jiffy Pop...?
