My mom is really good friends with my crush's mom. Before I ever even like him, his mom was upset with how serious he was getting with a previous girl friend. She also said he was trying to control his gf. So if this guy likes me back (which he does) and has a control issue, should I just stay away from him, or should I give him a chance?
Also guys with control issues, do they get jealous easily? I didn't know he had this problem and I was talking with alot of guys when he was around and I think I made him jealous.

im goin to give answering your question a try but knowing how girls are because i am one...we usually dont take other women's advice even when we ask. yes guys with control issues become jealous easily, and no you probably shouldn't give him a chance, especially since even his own mother realizes he has a problem. you see the thing is a certain amount of harmless jealousy from a guys makes a girl know the guy is in to her and wants to be with her... but a control issue is alot more serious. it will probably start off with little things like making you feel guily about hanging out with your friends....to eventually telling you what you can and can't wear in public and not being able to see any friends he doesnt like. which will be all of them. i dated a control freak when i was younger and thank GOD i was younger and our parents could intervene, because i dont know where i would be now. control often turns into abuse. now with all that said the choice is still yours....be careful.

They are hard work, my boyfriend is a control freak, it has to be done his way blah blah blah, he has pissed me off that much that i fear the love has gone in the relationship and im thinking of leaving him. I have tried talking to him but it goes in one ear and out the other, be very careful if you decide to start a relationship with this man as like me you might end up being walked all over, and yes they are very jealous and are not scared of showing it!

Ill tell you right now ALL guys get jelous, just some show it and some dont. But yeah give him a chance and tell him if it doesnt work then you cant stick around.

Maybe you should have a private talk with his Mom
about this control / or lack there of .

control issues can be really bad. i dont know your age, maybe if your young- which you kind of sound young, you could give him a try but keep him in line from the word jump. he can only control you as much as you let him. cac

Do not date him.seriously.Hes gonna boss you around.Control you until you move away from him.Control issues are very uneasy.Dont do it.Stay friends.

give him a shot. and if he tries to do anything. break up with him. and they do get jealous easy so be careful.
