OMG! I was just thinking about that this morning, but I didn't have any cream cheese. It's yummy like a pastry:)

Any sort of jam with any sort of cheese is delicious on toast. A fine fig conserve is also a tasty accompaniment to cheese on a platter with crackers.

Cream cheese goes very well with all kinds of sweet spreads, any jam/preserve would do, but it's also great with chutneys.

HALF C CHEESE HALF MARMALADE..BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! TRY THIS TOAST BREAD, LOTSA BUTTER,CINNAMON AND LOTSA SUGAR. ALSO USE SALMON CREAM CHEESE SPREAD ON WARM TOAST. OH MY GOSH!

Well, I've eaten it on a bagel, so why not toast? Sure, I'd tray it. But it would have to be good artisan bread, not some sandwich loaf.
