I have an 1863 Springfield Rifle Type II (stamped at 1864). The Eagle emblem is visible, and I'd categorize the rifle as in "good" condition.

I'd also like to know how to go about getting it appraised.

Thanks

pawn shops the worst places ot sell valuables. they provide you with 40-50% of the products fee. have not you ever considered Pawn Stars? the rifle, if this could be a 1863 Springfield Trapdoor and not a replica, this is worth approximately $1200 in NRA dazzling difficulty. fee plummets if this is have been given dings interior the inventory and pitting on the metallic or worn end. A pawn save will intentionally low ball you and grant around $4 hundred for it. (and the following day you will see it going for 2k) you're extra desirable off merchandising it inner maximum social gathering or looking a vintage arms customer.
