Yes, I believe that miracles do happen in this day and age. In fact, I'd like to tell you about a miracle, my miracle.
When I was born, I was a very sick child. I had pneumonia, spinal meningitis, and seizures. I was in the hospital more than I was home from the time I was born until I was 2. The doctor told my parents that they thought that I might have a brain tumor. They took one test, and were right. They told my parents they could do an operation, but I might not live. My parents went into the waiting room to discuss this. A charismatic catholic priest overheard them talking and offered to come and lay hands on me. He did that. Then, the doctors did another cat scan. They said that the brain tumor was gone. I was healed. The doctors said that I would only live to be 12, and even then, I'd be a vegetable. I am now 36 and very healthy! Praise God, I was healed and it's a miracle!

well Miracles can exist, but do they?
Do you know what a miracle is ??
Well a miracle is a happening of something that has no reasonable understand (at least to those who see it) suppose you brought back Ben Franklin into todays world, would not everything he saw be a miracle? from turning a water tap to turning on a light.
Miracles were used in the past to give credentials to God's prophets.
& Jesus used them for his credentials, showing what he will do for mankind under the kingdom rule.
(Isaiah 35:5-6) . . .At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened, and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped. 6 At that time the lame one will climb up just as a stag does, and the tongue of the speechless one will cry out in gladness. . . .
This what God wanted for mankind in the beginning, & Jesus gave a preview of how he can make it happen.
miracles are no longer needed , we have the record of the scriptures. in fact
(1 Corinthians 13:8-10) . . .Love never fails. But whether there are [gifts of] prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will be done away with. 9 For we have partial knowledge and we prophesy partially; 10 but when that which is complete arrives, that which is partial will be done away with. . .
the evidence we need is in the scriptures

I have seen and participated in miracles.
In 1989 I was annointed with the charisma of healing, I have found the use and faith to heal headaches.
For myself I have a 99% success rate. Since working this gift thru God I have healed every headache I have ever had within a few minutes except 2. a 99% success rate.
For unbelievers about 75%, for other believers 50%.
For several years I was able to pray to control rain because I biked to work. It rained only once and that was my last day at work.
I prayed against 3 water spouts in the ocean and seen them dissipate.
I have seen other healings and miracles.

Just being allowed to be born today, with all of these abortions is a miracle. And, hopefully God will and has forgiven me because I had the nerve to have one about 32 years ago. I have repented and prayed that God someday allow me to enter into his Kingdom to meet the little boy I murdered. I've truly cried for that awful sin I committed.

Yes. But people do miracles, not any sort of higher power. We're more powerful than we think. I've personally conducted miracles myself.

Miracles do happen every day. Not all recognize then. I have seen many myself so I know that they happen and often. They are after all just expressions of God's love for us.

Of course they do;-} the Catholic Church documents them.
There needs to be 2 confirmed miracles for every Saint.
