The Scriptures make it plain that God did not create the world in the state in which it is now, but evil came as a result of the selfishness of man. The Bible says that God is a God of love and He desired to create a person and eventually a race that would love Him. But genuine love cannot exist unless freely given through free choice and will and thus man was given the choice to accept God’s love or to reject it ... choose 'good' or 'evil.' "War, rape, starvation, and more," is the result of this.

Certainly, God is capable of destroying evil and suffering--but not without destroying human freedom, or a world in which free creatures can function. How do we as Christians respond to the problem of evil? With sorrow. With sadness. With revulsion. With perplexity. With questions that have no answers ... Each of us has had wrong thoughts, evil thoughts. Each of us has done something wrong — something evil. Why does God allow evil within us? None of us deserves to escape punishment, and yet God allows escape, too. If we ask why there is evil, we should also ask why there is mercy. Let us fight against evil and needless suffering, starting with ourselves.

All the problems in the world are caused by sin. Either directly by sin, or by the consequences of living in a fallen world cursed by the original sin of Adam (and Eve). God doesn't cause troubles (unless you are talking about his judgment on sin, as with Sodom & Gomorrah, or Noah & the flood--it's always possible that troubles are the result of God's punishment of sin), but He allows them because of man's free will. God also sometimes allows troubles to be brought upon His children (like the example of Job in the Old Testament) to test our faith and to grow us up spiritually--to teach us to totally rely on Him and not our own strength. If everything was easy and perfect all the time, we would think it was because we were good or something, and we wouldn't realize that we need God's power and grace. Also, sometimes God allows problems so that He can be glorified by bringing us through it. Near-death experiences, miraculous healings, and even tragedies and adversities that people overcome to become great evangelists (Joni Erickson Tada comes to mind) show us how God can be made strong through our weakness and get glory from adversity.
Read Romans 8:28.

If you are not a child of God, the troubles of the world may be showing you His wrath and leading you to repentance. If you are a child of God, the troubles of the world make you long for eternal life with Him where all our tears will be wiped away and the curse will be lifted. It gives me great hope and peace within to know that in spite of all the troubles in the world, God is in control, and He will ultimately be victorious over sin, and death, and everything that causes pain and suffering in this life.

Well, He did give man dominion over the earth, and man screwed even that beyond all sense. Seems to me that God gives man just enough rope to hang himself. Just good policy, I suppose. After all, man is an arrogant, self-centered, egotistical SFB's who thinks he's "outgrown God". Man creates these problems-- NOT God. Why else do you think there is and will be a thing called "Judgement Day"?

Adam was given authority over the earth by God. Adam then gave it to satan. satan is responsible for the bad things. God cannot just forcibly take it back, because He would be breaking the promise/deal he made with Adam.

However he is almost done with His redemptive plan. We need to have faith and patience.

To have a blind faith is to be gullible in thinking everything will be OK. Dogma is unreal in so many ways! People will preach and praise and criticize, but ultimately its not what color your faith is, just having some sort of faith and moral beside it, is all of what matters. Don't worry yourself with the madness of the world, it will dehumanize you and make you depressed beyond words. Don't join the crowd thinking its cool, you'll be a sheep, when you realize you lost your individuality! Take what you know well and use it to the best of your knowledge. What you don't know of, learn and never stop learning!

Not all are saved. Many are lost in sin and they do the will of their father satan. God loves all who are lost or saved but man has free will to decide to accept Jesus or not.
