She's probably just scared being in a new environment without her mom and brothers/sisters, strange people, strange smells and another strange dog. Remember that what you're feeling can be sensed by the dog, so if you're nervous she's nervous and so on. Maybe try and give her a little time to get used to the place in a separate closed-door room. Give her a bed and toys and some food and water and let her relax and get used to her new surroundings. You can go in by yourself and just sit with her and talk with her a little every now and then and give some treats so she gets used to you. Take her out to potty often to prevent accidents (by herself - maybe put your other dog in another room so when you're walking her to the yard she's not bombarded and gets distracted or scared-you can get some good quality play-time in then if she's interested). Maybe after she is able to deal with new surroundings and starts trusting you she'll be able to deal with the rest (such as that strange other dog trying to sniff her butt!). Just be patient and give her time. I would give her a couple days (could take less) until she shows interest in exploring outside her 'room'. Maybe she'll get bored with sitting by herself after awhile and want to come out and be with the family or eventually refuse to go in and look at you like 'I don't WANT to go back in there I want to be with YOU'. Then you've just reached a milestone. If she doesn't show interest, and she's not physically sick, you will need to start training her so she starts trusting you more, at that point you should contact a trainer to help you.
If she continues to act this way though, and/or doesn't eat or drink or act interested in playing after awhile I would advise you to take her to your vet. She might be sick and could be related to her restlessness and seeming inability to socialize or exhibit 'normal' puppy behavior.

She may be a little scared, but the world is a scary place when you're only like four pounds! Imagine how big everyone looks. "Oh no - another footstep coming this way!"
Having another dogs around her will soon give her comfort, though. After all, she's not used to having roommates yet.
Have you tried putting TTouch Wraps (aka non-stretch Ace Wraps) ? The wrap may help her feel more secure when going into new and what she is thinking a scary environment, in much the same way as the puppy swaddled in a blanket can stand to be picked up. Remember that it can take a few times of trying for the animal to feel comfortable in the wrap, as this is Also new and different. See the attached link showing a picture of a dog in a wrap from a TTouch workshop at BF for a reminder...

Since it kind of feels like you are by and large going to turn out to be doing a number of the paintings, it is wholly as much as you. Why now not purchase an older dog or grownup, that is already had a few coaching and can paintings extra comfortably into your agenda? You have a few babies and puppies in an effort to maintain you occupied for a at the same time. You might wait a yr or 2, it will not hurt something. Perhaps via then, you can have adequate vigour to tackle a different puppy. For now, I'd say wait.

It may be just the adjusting period, but your puppy could also be sick. Things to watch for are to make sure your puppy is eating and going to the bathroom. Upper Respiratory Infections are very common (and treatable, so don't worry) and signs would be runny eyes/nose and sneezing. If you see these signs, take your puppy to the vet within the next few days to get it treated. Otherwise, I'm sure it's just the adjusting period. Give the pup a nice big blanket to curl up in and just get some rest.

Due to the fact it seems like you are regularly going to grow to be doing many of the work, it can be fully as much as you. Why not buy an older dog or grownup, that is already had some training and can work extra effectively into your time table? You may have some babies and dogs so as to preserve you occupied for a even as. You might wait a yr or two, it is not going to damage anything. Probably by using then, you'll have ample power to tackle an extra dog. For now, i'd say wait.

i am sure she is just scared and will adjust over time, just don't rush her. One way you can tell if she is sick is if the other puppy won't go near her, as long as the other puppy is trying to play with her i would say she is probably not sick, just not sure of where she is and where her mommy went. So i would just try and make her feel as much a part of the family as you can and she will come around in her own way in her own time. Good Luck with her.

That's just what happened when we got our dog.Give the puppy some time to adjust to her new warming home! If you bought a toy or have a toy just for her then try playing with her or do what that person says "cuddle up with her". Hope that helps.

He's just a little freaked out with the new stuff (environment, people, dog, etc). I think the easiest way for her to loosen up would be to play with your older pup and make sure she sees it. Then invite her over to play with you guys or toss her a toy or a snack. Good luck :)

May take more time, I had one like that I just held her allot then when she woke up I'd take her out, made potty training very easy, could be the other is scaring her is its very active. If it don't get better I'd take it to the vet
Good Luck
