I very rarely use a printed Bible any more. With Greek and Hebrew plus 40+ English versions on my PC, there is little need. I will usually spend several hours studying, translating, or writing something, but don't have any set time of day to do it.

... My computer software lacks the "apparatus" notes of the Greek New Testament which explain which manuscripts have varying readings. The places where modern translations often have their "Some ancient manuscripts have ... " footnotes are a very small example, though almost all have no significant impact on the meaning of the passages. This information I can only effectively get from a bound GNT, so I keep one in the bag I use to carry my notebook PC which is otherwise my primary Bible.

I get ready for bed. Then I say my prayers. I have my prayer book in the book case by my bed. I think my Bible is there. I'm not sure if I put it back the last time I looked something up.

I usually try to urinate so's I don't have to get up duirng the night. Then I go around and scratch each of the cats behind the ears and tell them not to snore. Then I turn off the lamp, tuck myself in and meditate until Tabby interrupts by wanting to get under the covers.

No. There's no Bible anywhere near the bed.

Ghost,
I generally pray and ask our FATHER'S forgiveness for any sins that I may have inadvertently committed and ask that HE be with those who are travelling or sick among our family and friends. I have a number of Bibles in our house. At this time, I have about 15 beside our bed awaiting someone who has need of them. I keep my personal Bibles in our living room where I read and study it. Have a wonderful week!
Thanks,
Eds

I do keep my bible in the bed with me most times and find it on the floor in the morning.

Sometimes I read the bible all day long. ANd I sometimes find myself praying in the middle of the night. I tend to take my bible everywhere I go. I like to read it while Im in the car riding with my husband.

I wash my face , brush my teeth, get into pj's, say my prayers...etc.I do not keep a bible by my bed. I read it when I am fully awake and ready to soak in what I am reading, not use it as a sleep aid.
