Yes..You are going to get a lot of answers saying it isn't, but they are wrong. It is a very serious sin and you need to stop..
A lot of people are porn addicts and can not quit or get satisfaction in their marriage if they don't look at porn..
You watch and see how many thumbs down I get for this, but that is because they want to excuse their sin..
You can not look at porn and then come before the throne of God in prayer without having doubts in your heart...
Please resist this sin and look to God for help with your life.

Yes... Lust is one of the 7 deadly sins. Mere Christianity written by C.S. Lewis talks about the 7 sins... try reading it.

Pornography is also a sever exploitation of women and the amounts of pornography are getting worse. Child porn is now over 20% of the internet content according to some police organizations! Anyone buying or renting a tape or magazine is just contributing to that stinking pit!

Here listen to what an ex-porn star has to say.

Yes it is a sin. Before I thought it was ok since I am not having sex with anyone then God put signs in my eyes. Like scripture's about don't come home to porn. So I decided to change my life with that because I felt I was hurting God. So I threw all my porn and toys away. I felt a lot of peace and the thing is, God knew in my heart that it's not what I really wanted. God knows that I want my husband to fulfill my desires, not porn or toys. I have been blessed ever since. I was also taught recently that when you think about sin then you are opening doors to evil. And that sticks to my mind all the time. So whenever I have that feeling of pleasing myself then I think about our Lord and then I think about if I do I am sending evil in and I refuse to let evil win.

Engaging in an activity that leads to fostering sinful thoughts in your mind is an invitation to the Devil to come in to your life and have his way.

Someone could be a government official whose job is to look at movies and decide if they are pornographic or not. It isn't what you are looking at that is a sin it is what results in your though life that could be a sin. If looking at pornography causes you to fantasize about having sex with people outside of the bounds of holy matrimony then you are sinning in your heart according to Jesus.

As to masturbation, the Bible doesn't mention it. Here's a link if you want to find out more on that subject http://www.layhands.com/IsMasturbationASin.htm

Yes, looking at porn is a sin. why would you want to look at porn if you are a Christian? They only reason you should be looking at someone naked is if you are married to that person or if you are studying the body because you are going to become a doctor, BUT you should not look at it with lust. Jesus says not to have lust. Even looking at someone and thinking about doing something to them is comitting lust.

Yes, looking at pornographic images, videos, or anything else is a sin. There is lust of the flesh, as well as lust of the eyes. Pornography is both. You wouldn't look at porn if you weren't lusting after some part of it. It's most definitely lust of the eyes, for obvious reasons, so regardless it is lust, which is a sin.

masterbation is normal, what those men do to those women in porn is not. Thats the problem, would you like to be one of those women? NO, well you are participating just as those men are by watching and therefore supporting it. Porn is like RAID for men, dont watch it ever.

first answer my questions:

Are you a boy or girl (your avatar's name is rose and it's a girl)?

How old are you exactly?

If you're a boy, then you're messed up (no offense). I mean having a girl's avatar and looking at porn and even talking about it, wow.

If you are a teen, then you're not that messed up, but if you're not a teen, then yes.

If you're a girl, then you're the first girl who I have ever known that masturbates (congrats). If you're a girl, I don't see how masturbating could be a sin since it's your own body and you do what you feel like to it.

But please, answer my questions so I can answer more on your question.

Only if it takes away from your ability to be a positive influence on yourself, others, and the world. Also, it better not, become an addiction, but rather be used , to get more comfortable with that side of reality, so as to improve your mastery of sexual energy, which can be rechannelled to the spiritual. Stay away from exploitive and violent stuff, unless you are just checking out, what negative stuff exists, so you can better transform that kind of negativity in others, when you run into it. Knowing reality at its worst, can be used to motivate you to change it.

Depends on whether you're prepared to waste your life on a Bronze Age myth or not.

As it's the only one you'll get, I'd have thought it would make sense to enjoy doing anything you like as long as it harms no-one. Unfortunately you've allied yourself with a belief system that is terrified of sex in all its forms, so apparently you have to suffer.

You could try making your own mind up about how terrible this thing really is, but it sounds as though you're too far gone already. Bummer.

I think it's very sad, and I hate that you have to be hurt over something so harmless and healthy.
