I believe in both so I guess they can. The disciples thought that Jesus was the re-incarnation of Elias. He said no and implied that John the Baptist was. The disciples also asked Jesus if a man who was BLIND FROM BIRTH was blind because of his sin or his parents sins. Obviously the disciples believed in re-incarnation. Why is life before this one impossible and life after this believed?

Wow, I can't believ all these NO answers. The answer is absolutely yes and here's why. For about 350 years Christianity DID teach a doctrine of reincarnation. It was only removed from accepted church teachings at the second Nicene council. This was also a time when major re-editing of the Bible took place. Thus you find only a few references to reincarnation left in it that they weren't able to remove without ruining crucial parable or plot lines. Remember when Jesus asked if it was the sins of a newborn or of his parents? How could an infant have sinned? Only if in a past life.

No. The concept of reincarnation is not found in the Bible.
For example, Jesus told the story of the rich man and Lazrus and the rich man could not re-enter the world of the living to warn his brothers. Luke 16:19-31. Also, Hebrews 9:27-28, says:
"Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him."

the belief in Christ will over take, because reincarnation does not go far enough to fully explain the events of spiritual reality - all people do not just go in to nirvana - Bad people get consequenses - there is mercy and JUSTICE, for those wronged and those who wrong other souls

You almost got it. Change the word 'reincarnation' to 'resurrection' and the two go together like peas in a pod.

Probably not since Christianity claims that each soul occupies one body and immediately after death goes to heaven or hell for eternity. Reincarnation (Buddhism) claims that the soul is reborn after death and must pay for its transgressions through karma. Once the soul gains enlightenment it will then enter nirvana and rests. Hence, the term of old soul. Also seems to imply, at least to me, that this world is a type of hell.

Not according to the Bible. However, it's up to interpretation especially since many books were left out of the Bible on purpose. Who knows what was contained in those pages?
I'm still gonna say no.
