why do so many people hate islam?

it is no joke. in the past hour and yesterday ppl have been posting things saying my prophet god forbid, molested children.

i want to know were they got their info from, not oh i know it, or everybody knows, b/c that is incorrect

we can divide those people into many groups: Some are politically motivated like the Zionist Jews not all the Jews. The Atheists who hate Islam because it is more convincing than the rest. The fanatics Christians and Jews who feel treating by Islam where there are many Christians and Jews are converting to Islam. It is very natural to see those people hate Islam and you will never see a good believing Jew or Christian hate Islam as a religion. Lack of real eduction is the real reason for any kind of hate. Believing propaganda can never be a real education and it is sad to see people repeat propaganda as the final truth about Islam.
One historical fact before I go, Islam 1445 years ago gave the woman the right to divorce a husband for his bad looks not to mention other things. 1400 years ago the women had no rights what so ever. If I was a woman will vote for Islam anytime.

A 54 year old man lusting for a 6 year old is definitely going to put people off. One can accept if it were a child marriage between two children, But a 54 year old man in any day and age knows that he's old enough to be the 6 year old's grand father. Even then, if you say he was following the customs of the time, what is so prophetic about this man that instead of changing previously existing wrong customs he followed them and made it legal for all times to come for the muslims!Read your hadiths. It's not the non-muslims who are making this up to condemn Muhammed, it is there in your own muslim sources!

You know, I'm sure, about Aisha, who was six years old when Muhammad "married" her, and nine when he "consummated the marriage"?
There are some folks who think that was just fine, since people did marry much younger in those days. However, "younger" doesn't include prepubescent children.
Muhammad was supposed to be a "prophet", and, evidently, God communicated with him.
Surely, God would have explained about puberty to him? Don't you think God, Who created us all, would have realized that taking a nine-year-old girl and having sex with her is abusive, and don't you think God would have stopped His "prophet" from doing such a horrid thing?
The situation with Aisha is very well-documented, as are many other of Muhammad's outrageous "marriages"...you really ought to know a bit more about your own faith, don't you think? It always amazes me when I see women who are free to choose, as in the United States, and they either stay with Islam, or (??) convert to Islam. I can't imagine why any free woman would espouse such an oppressive belief system.

I, for one, don't "hate" islam...altho I *do* believe that islam is both evil and most likely the anti-Christ described in the Holy Bible.

People probably dislike islam because it's practitioners seem to use deception and deceit in order to divert attention from the hatred, violence and intolerance inherent in islam. This is amply evidenced by the many, many, many violent acts and death-threats of islam.

As far as muhammed and children goes...people are referring to the very well-documented FACT that muhammed "married" a child (well, betrothed at age SIX and then consummated at age NINE) saying that the child was a "gift from allah". It doesn't really take much imagination to see why MOST people would have a problem with this.

By "well-documented" I mean that the fact is readily available...including from muslim scholars.

I'm a Muslim, and I've realized that people these days are ignorant, they believe everything and anything the Media says. It's a "brain washer"
People thinks Muslims are bad just because the minorities are. In every religion there's ALWAYS a bad apple, but in our religion the minority overshadows the majority. Even tho the majority of Muslim are good people just looks at few and considers all of them bad.

I cherish my religion, it so knowledgeable.

And if you dont know, the history of science tell us that mountains have deep route (1856) and mountain plays an important role in stabilizing the crust of the earth. People has just begun to realize that mountain plays a role in stabilizing the earth ( late 1960 )

Ok this refers to Prefrontal area, which is the front area of the brain, and is responsible for motivating, and initiating good and sinful behavior and is responsible for the telling of lies and speaking the truth. And scientist just discovered these about the prefrontal cortex , around the last sixty years according Professor Keith L Moore.

If only people read the Qur'an instead of criticizing it, they'd probably know it's not a bad religion, and it supports peace.

People who wrote that Islam is not peaceful is wrong!!! C'mon,, I'm only 14 and I'm defending my religion because it's beautiful.
And if you dont know, Islam doesn't support killing. Islam does not tell us to kill others who are not Muslim. The prophet had non- Muslim family members, did he kill them? No! He did not do anything to them.
And Muslim who do kill others for no reason are being taught wrong. SO please, don't be bash-talking about my religion if you dont know anything about it!!

Your apologists like to say that she was older, by a few years, sometimes by many years; but they can't even agree on her age. Your books, however, are very clear, and in agreement.

That is a group of trolls who are always here. Try to ignore them, they are just a bunch of cranky old men, likely suffering from gout, and none of them under 64. They like to pretend they are military types, but that is not very likely.
I think there are only about 6 in total and you will see that they travel together. I have heard rumors that they all might actually be one poster on multiple accounts. They tried trolling in the Malaysian board about three months ago but the Malaysians simply made them look stupid.
They only ever ask the same question over and over like broken records and they drag all their material from the FaithFreedom or thereligionofpeace site.
They are hateful old men with health problems being trolls. You can ignore them, laugh at them and report them.
