Ive got like 1000$ and i need to find out whether to get the 360 or ps3( i already have wii) i dont have an Hdtv so dont mention it. I am a fan of naruto and i head naruto is going to be useable to marketplace so you will be able to update your characters and other things. and do not suggest i buy both because if i get 360 i atleast want to get a year of live and 6000 live points and a couple games. so suggest away but give good reasons i also loved kingdom hearts 3 some i not exactly sure what to get.

oh and plz do not mention that online is free i dont really care if i have to pay online its like 7 dollars a month for 360 and if you get one for a year its only 50 stop crying about having to pay online. And do not mention that you can go on the internet with the ps3 ill just use my labtop.

ONLINE GAMING IS A HUGE PART OF MY DESCION I DO NOT REALLY MIND IF PS3 HAS BETTER GRAPHICS BECAUSE I DONT HAVE HDTV PLUS I BOUGTH THE WII COME ON IF GRAPHICS BOTHERED ME THAT MUCH DO YOU THINK I WOULD BY THE WII.

After reading your additional information, Its seems you are very picky, as you should be, it is a big decision. But I will break it down like this: Xbox=State of the art, perfect for the hard-core gamer, especially online. PS3=Laid back approach, gaming is good enuff for anyone. The PS3 is an all-in-one system with blueray, wifi, and a internet browser. So if you wanna play a few hours a week (probably more right after you buy the game) then go with the ps3. But If you need the best go with Xbox, but I should warn you the fail rate is very high, and I think you will be disappointed with your purchase. People say that there are no games for ps3, but alot of games now come on both, and the real hardcore games are the exclusive, and if you are hard core then go with ps3, but seeing as how you are asking this question, you are unsure, and therefore, I reccomend the PS3

After reading all of the answers, the people that told you to get a PS3 gave good reasons. I also recommend that you get a PS3 because you get so much more for the money.
If you are trying to decide whether to buy a 360 or a PS3, what you need to ask yourself is " what type of games to I like to play"?
You mentioned that you like Kingdom Hearts 3, if that's the case then I assume that you like RPG's. The PS3 is the best system for RPG's. Of course, you probably already know that Sony's biggest RPG game is Final Fantasy, plus there are other RPG's that Sony is known for. The PS3 will give you real RPG games, not wannabe RPG games like BlueDragon for the Xbox 360. And you never know, there might be a Kingdom Hearts game for the PS3 in the future.
Most of the 360's best exclusive games have been shooters and if you don't like shooters then I don't recommend the 360. There is just more variety in game genres with the PS3 exclusive game library.

You pay for what you get. Obviously you want a 360 so just get one but you will wish you had a PS3 by next year.
PS3 is better in every way. You can believe all the bias fanboy crap you want but the PS3 exclusives are better than the 360 exclusives and the only multiplatform games that look better are the EA sports games. Oblivion, Rainbow Six, Ninja Gaiden, FEAR, etc. all look better on PS3.
By a 360 and you will regret it. I wish I never bought mine. I bought it to hold me over until PS3 came out and I'll tell you that with no hesitation PS3 is 10x better than 360 was after its 1st year.
Sony isn't the best console producing company (PS2) by accident. They push the envelope and are innovative. PS3 is amazing. 360 is a PS3 with its balls cut off.

- ps3 has a built-in blu-ray player
-ps3 supports 1.3 HDMI which has rich colors and xbox supports 1.2 HDMI
- ps3 has much more and better exclusives, most of them cant go to xbox 360 because it cant handle that many data(DVD- 8.5gb, blu-ray 50gb)
- online is free for ps3 not like 360
- ps3 will have over 300 games released by this spring
- when developers get used to the system, the graphics will be WAY better than 360. should take them a year to get used to it
- playstation home is coming out this spring, its a virtual community where you can hang out with friends and customize your own apartment which xbox doesnt have(FREE)
- ps3 is a true HD console. xbox 360 upscale games to 1080p and ps3 DISPLAY games up to 1080p
- built in Wi-Fi
- xbox 360: 33% hardware failure
ps3: .2% hardware failure(see the decimal? less than 1%!)
- ps3 has better back-comp except the 40gb
- rumble returns in spring 2008
- you can upgrade your harddrive without voiding warranties with any 2.5 HDD, which xbox cant because you have to buy a xbox HDD

those are the ones that i know right off my mind but there are much more reason than this

if you want the accessories that ps3 comes with, that would add up to over 700 dollars, so that means ps3 is actually cheaper

Buy the xbox 360, much better and buy Bioshock is the greatest game ever. Buying the ps3 is not a good idea, there is no good games and the controls in the xbox 360 are much better. Go buy the xbox 360 don't think it twice.

ps3, because you get the online play for free, and you play the wii, so you will know how to play the wiifi affects on the ps3, you can do alot more the ps3, and the ps3 is built to last. The 360 has lowered their 5 year warranty to 2 years because their system is so poorly put together.

I do agree with the first answer but as an owner of both systems i suggest the 360. My ps3 is collecting dust. I'm waiting for a good game to come out for it. All games for both systems (madden, ncaa, etc.) are better for the 360 because they are producing the framerate faster for 360. Make sure to get a warranty for the 360 if u get it. I already had mine replaced once.

simple question and the answer is ps3, it is way better games than 360, if your still not happy go to wikipedia.com and type xbox 360 games and ps3 games.. after that go on youtube.com and check the differences your self. Ps3 games are the best
