I wait,Hope and Pray to God that the USA will soon wage war with Iran,who agrees?

Question

The USA needs to continue it's wars and occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan to keep the Militant Islamic Fanatics in check,a Military Invasion of Iran must be next.
To make sure a 9/11 attack never happens in the USA again these wars must continue no matter what the cost.The Army/Marines have met their recruitment quota by allowing in substandard recruits,soon this will not be enough and military conscription(Draft) must return,to be fair women must also be conscripted.
Many people will disagree with this,they do not know that for america to be safe and keep it's people free these wars must continue,even if it Bankrupts the US economy or if these wars last for over 30 years,does anyone else agree?

The USA is always in grave danger with an enemy who has no rules, no land, no uniform, no conformity of any kind besides their faith. Iraq is just like the Korean war and Vietnam in that we fight an enemy in a land that the enemy does not even come from. In Korea we werent allowed to invade Russia, or China even though they were supplying the Koreans. Some concept go for Vietnam.

Once again we fight a proxy war. This time it is Iran through Iraq and Afghanistan. A lot of people think we can not beat an enemy who is every where and undefinable in many aspects. But they do have one, very large weakness. An its iran. Iran is the worlds largest supplier of terrorists, weapons and money for Muslim extremist. Destroy Iran and where will the terrorists receive training, weapons, money and its just one less country for them to hide in. Even more in our favor many in Iran are pro American.

But right now I see iraq as being a war fought half assed. We are so scrutinized by the media and outside world our soldiers are more comparable to a police force than a military force. We cant fight Iran if we do it half assed. As far as a draft goes, well that will not work either. Few will be willing to fight and it will turn the military into a force similar to that of the one we had in Vietnam. Which is not good enough to fight such a massive war.

Unfortunately we will have to wait for Iran to strike first, or for us to connect them to a terrorist act before we can get most of America and the world on our side. I think this is eventually inevitable. An things will have to get worst before they get better.

I should add i agree with Kojak. This cant be a ground war. A combination of special operations, assassinations of the right people and air strikes could be enough. There is chance we will need our ground troops for Russia, or China. An passably N. Korea.

After Saddam got on TV and told Bush to send anybody over and scope out the country, I said the saber rattling had worked, we could go in and check it out and make sure the guy didn't attack Saudia Arabia and remove any nukes. No more games. Instead we wipe out their army, which I got to admit stood there and got wiped out. Can you imagine going up against the most powerful army in the world knowing what it did to you a decade before?

Anyway Iran has got a bunch of non radical folks, but it's sorta like the preachers running our country and that's what they have. When the Churches ran Europe they had the Dark Ages and millions were killed. I guess there are some religious people here I might wonder what would happen if that got nukes.

Russia is saber rattling also. Another thing Iran is not all plains and with mountains and stuff will be harder. That's one of the few things that saved Europe from the Huns and Mongols. Russia was flat and could be run over easy, but Europe had different terrain.

I am not in favor of them having a nuke as the Sunni Arab nations around there are not also. War is not good and even if you have seen someone in a funeral home it is not the same as when you are there. We do have them "caught" in the middle. Who knows what we got going on over there, even though CIA was gutted. Maybe Clinton and Carter can work a deal like they did with North Korea.

No you shouldn't pray for war, but I do agree they everyone in this country should have to go to basic training.

There will come a time when we must fight these people but, please, not now! The majority of Americans would be more than content to end the two wars in Afghanistan & Iraq; with no more trouble with any of these people. However, I am rather sure that they are not going to settle for us leaving them alone, they want the Western nations wiped out unless, we convert to Islam. As for Israel, they want them driven into the sea! So you can see, there is trouble in the future. What I don't understand is Russia or China's stand, they don't seem to realize that they are not Muslim countries, what makes them think that siding with these countries makes them safe? Is their hatred of us so great that it is clouding their vision? Russia has already had a taste of what they are like so why are they siding with them now? China has some Christians within it borders, so they would not be exempt from their religious fervor either. Both of those countries need to get the log out of their eyes before they start picking on the splinter in ours! These wars will come, hopefully not yet!

NOT REALLY..... First; Iran has internal problems and a growing pro-west movement. It would be a mistake to invade them except as a VERY LAST resort.

Second, The answer to Islamic-Fascism is not conventional warfare....it is a whole new kind of warfare.....do a little studying.....read how Magsaysay stopped the Huks.....read how America combated Aguinaldo in the Philippine revolution.....you do not win with more bodies and bullets.....

Third, The Draft is a political third rail.....it will not happen UNLESS there is another 911.....which is possible

Fourth, quitting is not an option....it will embolden the terrorists yet again.....With drawl can only be done if the Iraqis are capable of filling the gap.....and we need to be ready to back them up when they have trouble they can not handle....
( Iraqi democracy will never be democracy as we know it.....eventually I feel another despot will take power....but as long as it is neutral or pro-west we do not care)

FINALLY.... Iran selected Abjenidad because he is young......The youth of Iran are overwhelmingly pro-west.....the elite are pro-west......only the ignorant and uneducated are Islamic Fanatics......We do not want a ground war with Iran......trust me

It's time the EU got behind the US and Great Britain regarding Iran. The US needs back up in this matter since Vladimir Putin has come out and declared that Russia will protect Iran. I believe this means Russia and China will start circling the wagons soon, and defy anyone to screw with Iran.

I see a military alliance forming amongst the more belligerent nations towards the US. I see Russia, China, N.Korea, Syria, Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba, Iran, possibly Iraq, and Afghanistan thrown into the mix.

The leaders of each and everyone of these countries has an axe to grind with the US. It's time the coalition of allies stood up to declare their loyalties !

Instead hope that the Iranian people will impeach Igotmyheadupmyassathon and elect a moderate sane leader and the problem will be diffused. Why not let Iran's neighbors or the UN or EU handle this. They are in greater danger as their proximity being closer. Israel can Nuke Iran just as easily as we could. It's somebody else's turn to play cop while Iran hasn't the missile technology to launch at mainland USA. Remain vigilant as they could buy info/tech from China or Russia.

i agree with Brad V and NONAME; SOMETHING has to be done about Iran! and it's about time the US wasn't the only one trying to fix the world; that's the WHOLE WORLD's responsibility! true, we're failing in Iraq, and Afghanistan is suffering as a result, but Iran is truly belligerent and Russia and China are allying with it, and Iran wants nukes, idk who they think they're kidding. and the last thing we need is nukes in the Mid East. idk, something has to be done, but since Bush screwed our foriegn policy for the next 50 years, there's not too much we can do. i hope Ban Ki-Moon's UN can improve things. but if Russia and China are top members of the Security Council, then it looks like we're stonewalled.

You have got to be a complete idiot. The only reason the crazy extremists are gaining any power is because of people like you. Everyone is scared that the US will ATTACK their SOVEREIGN countries, and this is forcing the moderates to agree with the crazies because they need to defend themselves. If say China was threatening to attack your country, you would the most cold-blooded, war-like person as your leader. And you would want to kill the assholes that are invading your country.
