I like Grimm's fairtytales, I mean Aesop's Fables!!!

The Bible because it teaches morals among other things, but Aesop's Fables teach lessons and gives advice. Aesop's Fables arn't so much moral lessons but more like ways to solve your problems and ways to avoid trouble. I do love Aesop's Fables though!! Excellent read.

Both have moral lessons. Aesop's Fables is a book of morality. The Bible is a book which states that nobody can be moral 24/7 from birth to death, without help, and God, through Jesus, provides that help, not ust to pay the wages for sin, but to give Resurrection Power to believers through the Holy Spirit once Jesus won victory over death and sin. We can only "live" the "moral life" according to the Bible by being "in" Christ and letting the Holy Spirit flow through us.

Aesop's Fables, (which was written more-or-less contemporarily with the New Testament)...
The reason for this is that Aesop's Fables can be shown to have "internal consistency", and does not teach one lesson in one story only to teach a contradictory one in another story: the bible as a whole is FULL of such contradictory "lessons", such as 'an eye for an eye' AND 'turn the other cheek'.

Aesops Fables. it makes no bones about it being just stories. Unlike the bible that tries to claim that kind of ridiculous crap is real.

I think that all the morals found within Aesop's Fables are also found within the bible, and vice versa.
