Just curious. What kind of chihuahua do i have, a deer or apple head? Here are the RIGHT links. Sorry about the last ones. He is tall and has long legs.

He looks like a deerhead... Just by his ears .... Anyhow he is adorable , and looks like your baby . What a lucky little dog!

Dont want to insult you...so first I will admit that he IS very cute.
BUT...there is no such thing as a deer or apple head chihuahua.
Those two titles fall in the same category as 'teacup' poodle ect..they are marketing scams. People put a cutesy name on a poor quality bred dog to intice people into buying it and thinking they have something unique.

Im have never heard of a deer or apple chihuahua but if I would have to choose it would be a deer. Your dog is very cute!
Advice: If your dog's front legs are smaller than his back becareful he does not hurt his back or feet from going up and down stairs

It is probably a purebred but it doesn't meet the standard because the head is flatter and the legs and snout are longer.
It has what is called "deer type qualilities". He is still a cutie and just as loveable I am sure.

Well, I don't know what a "deer" or "apple" head is.... But he's quite cute!! Looks like a little bitty pharoah hound :) What a doll.

There are no "apple-head" and "deer-head" variety of chihuahua. There is just "chihuahua". (No "teacup" varieties either. They are all just chihuahuas.) The whole head-type thing was made up by people trying to sell low-quality cheap animals.
You will not find the word "deer" anywhere in the official breed description.
The correct head should be "A well rounded 'apple dome' skull" according the the AKC: http://www.akc.org/breeds/chihuahua/

His head is shaped like a deer's head, not like an apple (round).
