Yes, we (Mormons) do believe that even God progresses in knowledge, and that as man is, God once was, and that God is, man may become. Angels, in Mormon Church doctrine, are those individuals who have not yet entered mortality (one step in that eternal progression).

We are made in the express image of God--having, arms, legs, head with brain, and all the other features that distinguish us as human beings. The angels of God are those that were born on earth and then died; or those that will be born on earth.
The eternal progression is specifically for the human race in which God is the Omnipotent Ruler and Creator. As we progress, so does God because His mission is to bring to pass the immortality of man.

I do believe this, but not with respect to God the Father. Our Heavenly father is perfect. He has always been God. He is unchanging. God the Son, however, IS progressing just as we are.... he's just a million steps ahead of us.

There are people that speculate on this issue, however we just don't know. We know that God is continually increasing in Glory. We know that as we are righteous, we add to his Glory. Beyond that, we can speculate, but I don't know.

Excellent question, dear one! I've often wondered how a god who progresses can even be infallible, if he started out a sinful man!
MY God is certainly infallible! I thank God for His perfect Gift of Jesus!
God bless!

The Mormon belief is a fable it is not the Truth of who God really is. If you want to know God then read His Word in the Holy Bible, anything else used as scripture is nothing but lies from Satan.
