Nonbeliever's define faith as believing without evidences. But actually there are tons of evidences there that points that there is God, like healings from sickness/diseases, a persons life change from a miserable one to a meaningful one, divine interventions; people who have seen God and angels, answered prayers, & archeological artifacts...miracles. When a person is healed from something after they believed God, nonbelievers often tells that the body healed itself, if its that easy then why are there people who are still sick? I'd like to see an unbeliever get healed if its like that. I have read many articles about people who were getting healed and later goes back to their doctors for follow-up and even the doctors couldn't explain why they are healed. Not only those people are evidences of God's healing but also they are being backed-up by their medical records. I have seen many people who were miserable but after they accept God, they became happy, joyous people. =>cont.

Now I know that people feel God's presence within them because I do too & to me God is more real than the people who will answer this saying God don't exist. Because I don't feel their presence but I feel God's, so to me God is real than they are. I read God's word through the Bible too. There is one more evidence that we shouldn't forgot, our personal experiences involving God. They compare God to Santa, but actually, St. Nick existed. You can search for his story on the net of course. Bigbang is more fairytale because there is no evidence and to believe it also requires faith. Blind faith. If atheism is not a religion, why is it under religion & spirituality, since they don't believe in spirit anyway. Faith is not believing without evidence because we have many, more that you'll ever understand. Faith is taking Gods word as it is.

I'm not surprised, it says in the Bible unless God's light shone upon your hearts you won't see God...you won't still see that God works and we see results.

No. I think faith is evidentiary! However, the evidences (or the acts that are seen and heard) are the product of "somebody" and not the product of "something".
The strength of your faith is measured by the amount of faith you have in the "object of your faith" and not in the acts you see or things you hear from the object. Those things only become important when the "object of your faith" has demonstrated that they totally trump all powers. Jesus stated that He had all power in heaven and earth.
If the object of "whom you have placed your faith in" is not worthy or capable of doing what you believe, hope for, or what you are requesting, then its not faith but foolishness.
Jesus Christ proved who He was. He proved that He came down from the Father. His evidentiary demonstrations caused his followers and thousands to trust or have faith in "Him" because He demonstrated repeatedly that "He" could be trusted.
He healed the sick, He raised the dead, He fed the hungry, He dignified the marginalized. This was all evidence of "who He was". He did not do these things for self aggrandizement.
This type of evidentiary information was taken back to John the Baptist in Luke 7: 22 when Jesus told the disciples of John the baptist to go tell John, what they had seen and heard. However, He never intended for John to trust in the miracles. He wanted John to trust in "HIM".
The apostle Paul said, "I know whom I have believed" not I know "what" I have believed.
So, faith is evidentiary because it points to Jesus Christ. The resurrection, the healings, the feeding of thousands, etc, all point to Jesus. He is trustworthy. He is the "whom" in you can believe, trust and have faith. The evidentiary breadcrumbs follow Him like a path for the lost.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. There would be no point in creating a holy people for a new heaven and a new earth without a thinning out process that separates the wheat from the chaff. Faith sought until it strengthens educates a a person on the way to live according to the Word of God. Surrendering a life to Jesus opens a doorway by faith to the transformation of a person's character whereby saved people turn around and live a good and fruitful life that is worthy of a heavenly paradise existence to come.

Faith is the true belief in something, knowing it is there or that it will happen. evidence has nothing to do with it.
Jesus said with the faith the size of a mustard seed, you could move a mountain. When you go to get some thing, don't you have faith, that you will get it , I know you do, and if you don't, chances are you wont get it. Faith is the fabric, that all good things are made of. Faith is some thing you should have in your self, it is a big part of your success. With out this faith you could be fighting an up hill battle to success.

It was the best decision i have ever made.I also called a prayer line on TBN last night because i had tenitis (high pitched ringing in my ears) and Now it is Gone,I have'nt heard any ringing all day, and i give all the praise and glory to God. by his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and by our faith we recieve.

Actually, the Bible defines it that way, "Faith is the evidence of things not seen." Bible or no, that's also the English language.
My observation is that it often goes beyond "without evidence," with many people's faith amounting to believing despite evidence to the contrary (sometimes even despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary).

One definition of faith is found in Hebrews 11:1 (NASB):
"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
On the other hand, the evidence is there:
"The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."
Romans 1:18-20 (NIV).

Faith is believing in God without seeing evidence. In order to know God you must have faith.

No.
Notice in Acts 2. Before they were told to believe, or more accurately to "know assuredly" that Jesus was Lord and Christ (verse 36), they were shown a lot of evidences!
Notice in this chapter, they had seen miracles, they were told about witnesses to the risen Christ, and they were reminded of prophecy from the prophet Joel and David. After this evidence, they were told to believe in Jesus!

Without faith you can not see the evidence of God although it is all around us.
So the problem for those who do not believe is not that they don't have evidence but that they don't have sight.
As the song Amazing Grace goes, "I once was lost but now am found, was blind but now I see."
