Personally, I don't see what's the fuss.

I don't see what the fuss is either, but it really offends my mother. I guess different cultures and ages view it differently, so even though I love to get on my mother's nerves, I take my hat off indoors, if she or someone like her is around. Why upset people if you don't have to?

Yes, a man should not wear a hat indoors. Call me old-fashioned, but a man should always remove his hat indoors. Its just polite and proper etiquette. The only reason that he should keep his hat on is because of religious reasons.

It used to, but it is so common now, that I don't notice it anymore.
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I DO enjoy taking MY hat or cap off indoors. It is respectful of everyone else. I like that.

Now, about the slobs who never wash their hands before they leave the men's room......

Yes, it is simply good manners to do so. Recently this old
man came to visitation at a funeral and left his baseball
hat on with the bill turned backwards. I have seen him at
other places with it on. In a restaurant, at a church dinner.
I guess he is just simply too dumb to know about manners.
It's a bit hard to tell them don't you think?

If a female = no.
If someone in a military uniform = yes
If a male not in uniform = no unless sitting down to eat.

I figure they will likely be on the Jerry Springer show soon and will show us how trashy and ignorant they really are.

To not doff one's chapeau indoors is the height of vulgarity.

Not really of course, but it does bug me. I figure those who don't are ignorant twerps.
