...and before anyone claims we are a cult ... No, we are not. From a Christian perspective, a cult would either have their own Bible, would not believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and/or would have their own charismatic leader.
We believe and use the same Bible as other Christians (I prefer the KJV). We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he is the Saviour and Messiah prophesied of throughout the Old Testament and that He gave His life that all might be saved if they will but accept His Sacrifice as their own and follow Him.
How are we different from other Christians? We believe the *entire* Bible is the true, inspired Word of God and also binding upon modern day Christians (2Ti 3:16). Thus, we practice all the health laws, follow all the statutes, and keep all 10 of the Commandments -- including worshiping on the Seventh-Day Sabbath as outlined by the Fourth Commandment (Exo 20:8-11). Then, among other beliefs, we also don't believe there is currently a literal Hell but that Hell is the lake of fire which God will create on the surface of this earth in the last day to once and for all time destroy the last remnant of all whom would not forsake all sin. There is no burning forever (Mal 4:1-3). We also believe the dead do not go directly to Heaven or Hell (obviously, since Hell does not currently exist). Instead, the dead are merely in the grave and know nothing of the passage of time (Ecc 9:5,6).

The name of the place I gather with other believers on Sunday to worship the Lord is called, Calvary Chapel.
But we also have a weekly Bible Study at work with several other believers of various denominations (and a couple who are, for now, "just looking.") When believers gather in Jesus' name, He is there among them, and we can rightly be called a part of the body of Christ, the church.

I have had the Pentecostal experience of the infilling of the Holy Spirit,,with the evidence of speaking in tongues...just the way it happened in the book of Acts, chapter 10...I will pretty much go to any church that believes all the bible and doesn't throw out the parts they don't like..
."Forbid not to speak with tongues".....how many churches today really believe this...I was at one church and one man told me, if his wife was at the altar and any one starting praying over her in tongues, he would throw them out the door!..Yet, they say they do not forbid to speak with tongues if you ask them....How sad for that church.
