who gossip, don't mean well. it depresses me because i reveal everything. i don't feel innocent as i was being part of this crowd although i have good intentions. So much dirt and filth in this world. how do you grow thicker skin?

Well, you could probably start by finding out what split personalities really means. It doesn't mean two-faced which is being nice to you then saying nasty things about you. Of course, small towns are legendary for this sort of thing so you should have had some lessons before coming to whatever crowd you are part of. I notice you don't say whether that is college, job situation, or just bigger place. Some never get the thick skin, just get better at cutting people off and hiding the pain.

Its not a think coat you need, its moral and self discipline. I just asked a question regarding these of what seem to be an essense rather than something that should be taught from family and in school. Yet common sence, self value and self discipline along with moral just doesn't seem to run deep in the hearts of very many anymore. Lack of love from the parents to care what their children grow up to be. To all those who say they don't care, yeah you do your just too lazy to wake up and get real! Become the individual not the sheep in the heard!

Find the Queen Bee and get on her good side. Watch her. Listen to her. Learn. Believe it or not, those type of people get what they want and more because the "squeaky wheel gets the oil" and others want to PLEASE them.
Relax. Take the time to gather information. Never say anything about what you notice or you will be on the receiving end really fast! Be entertained by it all.

I know exactly what you mean, i think???Those that gossip and do NOT mean well....from now on when asked ...DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT REVEAL ANY INFORMATION THAT CAN BE USED AGAINST YOU...because they will....THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK!!! this is the best advice i know...wish i knew it sooner, but later is ok...Just do not reveal anything that may hurt you!!! and if someone MAKES UP SOMETHING, just say with a straight face...'THAT IS FALSE!'''and be sure and walk away!!!

stay away from those types they're downers and you'll get hurt bothering with them it's better to alone until you meet like minded people limit your contact with them otherwise birds of a feather do stick together whether or not you agree with this this is how others will view you sorry
