Yes, those of you who mentioned me are correct. When I came here, I was in a general Christian mindset and I have since abandoned that. I was just trying to see if there are others here who can relate. :o)

When I started here, I was agnostic. I didn't really care if there was a god or not. Now, I am quite comfortable stating that I see no evidence of a god and I am a strong atheist. I rapidly identified Pantheism as a fair definition of my belief system.

when I came to R/S, I was a raging Atheist, now I am just a really nice guy Atheist. This place has changed my feelings about fundies though, and not in a good way. What amazes me, is that I have any Christian friends at all on here, I never in a million years would have thought that possible, yet, I do. Just because I like "the apple chick" and "beano" my wife thinks I am going to give all our money to Jerry Falwell or something. No, I am an atheist, but, as always, an Atheist who will continue to say "I don't know everything"

hmm . if your beliefs solely refers to the religion of the person , yes , at the very least , 1 . a teenage boy , i still remember him cause i check his profile and question posted to see whether is he an atheist trying to be funny.

fyi , he was a fundy and then interested in hindu or smething , but not atheist...

if your belief refers to knowledge about religion .. as in , 'i believe this religion is bla bla , and they bla bla ' , den i would say me .

Well when I started coming here I was pretty much undecided. I have since become atheist. I have actually learned quite a bit here about both sides.

I remember, quite a while back, a strict polytheist becoming an atheist.

And if my mind hasn't left me entirely, I remember reading a question or answer from you that mentions your beliefs have changed as well! Correct and forgive me if I am wrong, though!

I do think that people do have to change their beliefs, when they come across adequate proof that shows their current belief system is wrong, ie. incorrect, inaccurate etc.

This will happen to you, if you are forever aligning yourself with false belief systems (which includes the world's religions).

The 'truth' (which is simply accurate information) will always do this to you. If you are a truthseeker, you have no option but to follow the path that truth (information) takes you...
And what happens is that you are simply following your heart (and mind, etc) ... which is not a bad thing.
At least you're not simply swallowing everything hook, line and sinker - that your church (etc) tells you...
And it is good to question everything...

You. Didn't you used to be sold out 100% to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and decided to not believe anymore? Did you ever really believe in the first place?
