I was reading the Yahoo! Health section and they say the number is rising. I am scared to go to the hospital because I will come out worse than when I went in!

No we are not all going to die (yet). At some point we will all die. However, we are not all going to die of MRSA. MRSA is a specific type of Staph infection. In order to prevent staph infections wash your hands often and do not let any open wounds be exposed. Cover them with bandaids and make sure they are cleaned properly.

"May" come out worse than when you went in. Check to see what the hospital is doing to deal with the situation and if you have hospital grading and review, look at the results.
