Yes, I think the people do. I don't think the Gov is impervious to the reality of how the people are feeling, they just don't care, like ours. Of course, the problem doesn't affect them, doesn't affect the super rich, because they can isolate themselves, and what are taxes when one is worth millions and millions of dollars, which BTW, in the US, Bush's tax cut has only really benefited the very rich. I feel for you, because you pay even higher taxes than we do. Welcome to the jungle, it stinks, doesn't it?

Americans should observe what once Great Britain's slide into socialism has done to them. Great Britain is VANISHING rapidly. I doubt ANYTHING will save them.
