I currently have acuvue 2 contacts. I was wondering if my prescription is the same for acuvue 2 colors or do i need a different fitting. One place told me I needed to call the doctor for a fitting and when I called they said the should be the same prescription. anyone know?

As long as you are staying with the same lens (Acuvue 2 clear/colored), everything will be the same. If you are looking for a different brand of colored lenses (ex. FreshLook), the fit of the lenses may be different and that will probably require a check of the lenses by an eye doctor.

Your prescription is the same, no matter which lenses you want to try.
It shouldn't require another fitting, if you get them from the same place as your regular lenses.
