I think even if 5 billion people die that doesn't mean the Rapture is coming. Imagine when the plague was happening and there was less than 1 billion alive. Those people were all wrong to think they would see the Rapture in the next hundred years.

Some communities of faithful believers have allowed conservative ideological authorities to dismiss the idea of a savior whose messages are of love, compassion and forgiveness and promote instead the idea of a savior whose return in a second coming will be as a warrior fighting in the end times to achieve final victory against an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth in a great war to end all wars known as Armageddon. Many conservative ideological authorities have become warmongers. They self righteously believe they will be raptured to Heaven before the Armageddon they have helped orchestrate unfolds upon those "left behind".

I think, believe and expect that such leadership is bad for the many and good for a mercenary plutocratic predatory few. Bad for the many because such leadership produces racist heterofascist warmongers that imagine Armageddon to be a means to an end of achieving for themselves divine eternal bliss. Good for a mercenary plutocratic predatory few because such leadership generates greater profits from the sale and manufacture of products and services of a beast of a military industrial complex. Maybe the many will lose in a race to Armageddon and the few will win because the many will have no place to take refuge in the event of global nuclear war, super volcano eruption and or impact of a massive body from outer space and a mercenary plutocratic few will have a place to take refuge. As a beast of a military industrial complex moves the global culture closer to Armageddon, maybe a mercenary plutocratic predatory few will retreat into and rule from an underworld of bunkers and cities built underground and designed to withstand the aftermath of global nuclear war or other global catastrophe. If and when conditions permit maybe a mercenary plutocratic predatory few plan to emerge from their underworld and function as the seed of the next over world, repopulating the planet with animal, and plant life.

As in the days of Noah, so shall the coming of the son of man be. Voilence covered the whole earth. What do you think is happening today?.... When the Gospel is preached thru out the whole world then will then end come. Satelite and tv are in every country on the planet..... No man may buy or sell unless he has the mark. The computer chip can easily keep up with every person on the planet. They already are with phone monitoring and email scanning, a computer scans your mail everyday. There are camera's everywhere in the cities. The computer chip is in your car, its being put in every farm animal. And now my number one thing, If Christ doesn't come soon, there want be a need for a rapture because there will be no Christians left, I am told there are more christians now in China than they are here and its against the law there. The USA is now the number one place to send misssionaries. We are out of hear soon, come quickly Lord Jesus come quickly.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

Why do Christians even think there will be a rapture?

If BibleGod was true, He would be sending around 37 million people to hell every year for being non-Christians. So what's the rapture for them? Nothing, just people going into hell a lot faster.

Didn't anyone tell you, the rapture happened last week. Jesus came and took all the worthy people to heaven.

All the Buddhists are gone.

Love and blessings Don

No one knows what will happen. If 5 million people actually disappear, you might want to check into it though.
