The US has an embargo on exporting from Haiti (based on Haiti's civil rights abuse history). Even if you are a casual tourist you can't bring back much (a few jars of canned sauces and peppers at most). If you are a commercial dealer then you are not going to be able to bring anything to US.
As far as imports tourists can bring in things in their suitcases but again nothing on commercial scale.
