OMG i thought i was the only one and was wondering why i always feel this way when i'm surrounded with ppl all the time. Not any one i would call best friend or close friend but i always have some one with me all the time but inside of me is always alone and that really bother me a lot. God knows if its normal but its killing me inside and of course every time i try to explain this to my family, they just have a hard time understanding why i feel this way:)

I feel that way sometimes. I live far away from my family and friends. I am making new friends but i just get so lonely and miss everyone. Especially when everyone has their own lives and never calls. I guess it's natural to feel lonely and empty at some points in life.

Born with it - bred with it - still with it. Emptiness at times can be lifted though it takes more than a simple hello - then everyone lets go. That's not critique, its the way it is. Have no friends as such.

No you're not alone. I feel the same way sometimes. There is a great John Mayer song about it "Something's Missing"

No, but I got a feeling that someone's watching me, I got no privacy.
Seriously, at least you have friends a lot of us dont have anyone to confide in. I have a couple friends but they arent there for me a lot when I need them.

When it comes to friends, I have many. For some issues, I'm always alone. When it comes to dating, I don't do that stuff and enjoy the solitude.

it doesnt matter how many friends you have..
this can happen to anyone....
when one stops having goals... and expectations in their life, a feeling of emptyness can result..
you need to go out find some new hobbies, if you have a family visit them , talk about it). Find new interests....

i feel alone constantly. i know that void will always be with me and there's nothing i can do to change it. i have no friends. even the love of my gf, family, or God (if you believe) isn't enough to make it go away. it's who i am and will always be. i am an abyss.

It's probably a phase. I went through that in 8th grade.
But now I'm in 11th and I know my friends are awesome and so worth it. =) Not to mention I love my parents to death.
