I ask this because I cooked a curry (an authentic recipe chicken biryani) at work on thursday night and bought the leftovers home cos it was so yum!

I have eaten in twice and each time it seemed to get hotter!
Is this possible or is it my imagination?

It does get a smidgeon hotter, but the longer you leave the curry the flavoursome they get due to the marinading.

You get my star for cooking fresh. Good for you keep up the good work and have fun in your kitchen.....xxx

It matures overnight! I always cook curries and chillis the night before I eat them - 'cos they taste better.

Like many foods with many ingredients it improves by standing.
I find it becomes more tasty with less 'pepper' effect.

I think the flavours are absorbed more in the food and the food gets more spicy
