I never said I did anything classifying as a "homosexual act"... so just because I am gay, I'm going to hell?

I'm an atheist. I guess I'll see you there, too.

I would like to guarantee that you won't, possibly also because I'm gay myself and I'm trying to find a bit of salvation right here but there are just some points to consider. Certainly, being gay does not amount to a coldblooded murder. However, with the talks going about religion (especially Christianity) and homosexuality, I quite am having a hard time answering this one.

Being a Christian myself, I have been flooded with Bible sayings, the scriptures, the doctrines, etc. And there isn't a time in the world that I haven't thought about heaven and hell, and right and wrong. There would also be arguments like "if God truly is Love itself, then wouldn't He accept you for who you are and love you even more as his child?" But then again, if we think about that, they'll say that we are so selfish to think only of ourselves regarding a sensitive matter such as this one.

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with being gay. As long as you're not out there to hurt somebody. The reason why a lot of people are throwing us to the pits is not only because of our preference but also because we choose to act on the feelings we have for another person of the same sex. But if the feelings were based on love and grounded on it, I don't see anything wrong with that as well. Take care of yourself, as always. ;)

edit: oh, and btw, I guess we'll only find out about that at the end of all of our bioligical functions eh? Lol! TC! ;)

Personally, I think we shouldn't worry about things like that until the end. Basically, so many people misinterpret everything, whose to say these people who wrote the bible didn't misinterpret what they were SUPPOSED to write and instead wrote that being gay is a sin. I hope and pray that I will not go to hell just for loving other women, but who really knows?

No! Just being gay WILL NOT send you to hell. Being gay is wrong, but so is lieing, and everyone who is going to haven has lied. You will go to hell if you don't accept Jesus, and if you ever do, you should WANT to change your ways, but that'll take time.

If you manage to find yourself a 'Hell' and actually manage to get into it, my advice is take a really big library with you, because it's going to be awfully lonely there ..... not too mention interminably boring.

I jest.

No, you can turn yourself into a human corkscrew and hump the entire planet, but it still won't earn you a ticket to 'Eternal Damnation ! :-)))

There is no such place as 'Hell', this myth was cooked up by the Osirian Priesthood in On/Helipolis in ancient Egypt about 3,500 years ago. It was a scam then, and it's a scam now.

Even one of it's most prominent promoters, the Roman Catholic Church owned up and spilled the 'beans' on this gag back in May 1999, Pope John-Paul II announced in a public 'Audience' ( that makes it official Church dogma ) that 'Hell' isn't a place, but rather a state of mind.

So, if you are gay and feel bad about it, you might want to re-adjust your self-opinion, but you can't use religion as a reason to claim victimhood anymore.

Relax, be happy, kiss and cuddle whoever you like, just so long as they agree.

Hell is non-existent. Made up by Human being here on earth. You have no reason to change who you are because of a fictional book.

Yeah. You will...simply because the Bible is against same sex relations. Its mostly categorized under lust...if you die without repenting, you will also go to hell. So if you're gay..then I'd get delivered...recleansed...
And some people think that being gay isn't as bad as murder...but sin is sin...there is no little nor big sin...sin is sin...you do go to hell for sin...period

Only God knows your heart. Jesus died for you just as much as He died for me. He also loves you just as much as He loves me. Bank on that. It looks like you are a non practicing gay person. Here is the sin. Fornication. That will get just as many straight people thrown in hell as it will get gay people. Lets look at the sin that affects both sides of the fence. The word is (fornication)

If you die and you have not asked God to forgive you and have not changed from being that way, yes you will. Being that way is a sin. The Bible never said that it is okay to be that way, that is just what people want to believe.

First of all, there is no hell other than in your mind. The only way you can go to "hell" is if you sentence yourself to a psychic hell of depression and despair.

However, even if you believe in that Christian poppycock, I do believe God treats all sinners equally as long as you accept Jesus.

So it looks like you're home scot-free on the gay thing, if you ask me.

I don't think anyone can tell you that answer. Only give opinions. In my opinion it is a sin. It does speak against homosexuality in the Bible. But if you truly believe in the bible you know that only God can judge...noone else has the right to say where your soul would spend eternity.
