The best person to ask about this would be a Dr or somebody like that. I did quite a few sponsored fasts when I was younger but it was always 24 hours without food, not without water too. No tea, juice, coke, things like that but we were still allowd water. Infact we were advised to drink it. Also, I have been known to pass out when I forgot to drink anything for a whole day even though I was eating so I don't think it can be good for you.

If you asked me to donate money and told me you werent going to drink water or eat anything, i wouldnt give you anything, but rather say this... "you are an idiot" What on earth would you gain from it??
How about you fast for 48 hours and eat only barley sugar, and of course (are you nuts!) drink water. There is a very popular yearly charity in australia called the 48 hour famine, and it helps normal ppl see what its like to go without food, and many many ppl have made so much money for the charity. One year i made $500, and it felt great to help, but, hell! i still drank water! To not drink water would be the stupidist thing in the world. Think about it.

You can go without food but absolutely not with the water. Very serious damage will happen to your organs if they are not hydrated! Good grief don't do it. You could end up needing kidney dialysis if you go through with it. Have you never wondered why hospitals always put people on a drip? Because of the build up of highly toxic poisons in our system and to keep us hydrated. Most of us do not take in enough fluids anyway so they wash the toxins out and stop our veins collapsing - silly fool.

It's not a good idea, just go speak to your doctor and see if they recommend it. Going 24 hrs without food would be dramatic enough surely? You probably wont get anything massively serious but it will definately cause you headaches, more severely it could make you feel faint/dizzy or get blurred vision. The body can easily go 24 hrs without food but its really not good for it to go without liquid.

You would prob be OK... but water, fluid, is important.
We can go without food for ages.. body lives off fat reserves. Yes, even in slim people.
I think you should do it, but allow yourself to drink, but only water. Would still be a good effort.

Water is essential to your body being able to cope with the loss of food all of a sudden. It is never recommended to go without water. Your body can cope for much longer without food than it can liquid. I wouldnt recommend going without liquids.

The three rule applies.....
3 minutes without air
3 days without water
3 weeks without food.
However would suggest you see your gp before embarking on this event.......

I wouldn't go without water. You have to flush toxins out of your body somehow, and without water, no flushing.
Plus your pee will be dark and smelly...no one wants that.
