You do know that dogs can hear better than we can, right?
How do you know that she isn't seeing something you just can't see?
Maybe there's a sound in a different tone that humans can't hear, but she can.
Call your vet. He should be able to answer this one over the phone.

Instead of wasting time asking unqualified strangers on the internet who have never even seen her, have you bothered to take your puppy to the VET?! It may be ear mites or some other problem. She needs to see a VET! SHE is the one in discomfort so stop procrastinating.

you should check for fleas or ticks, and check her ears for infection, you can check the ears by smelling them, dogs ears smell funny when they have an infection in them. dogs dont always scratch with fleas if they have maybe one or two they will try and bite at the area they bite. If not you should take to vets for checkup.

This CAN be a neurological (sp) condition. Have a google, look for 'fly biting', as that is its' comon name, and see what you think...but I would get to the vets soon.

Yeah, mine have done this same thing. Cats do it, too. I could never figure out what it is they're looking at..... But, hey, don't worry about your baby, if she's just watching invisible bugs (LOL), she'll be just fine.

that's cute. puppies are so naturally curious and easily frightened. but you should check your doctor about that, cause it could be ear mites or something health related. if not, then she's just really cute and kind of paranoid

have you had a look in her ears?
she may have ear mites
or possibly an ear infection thats bothering her
if they look sore, or waxy ( maybe discharge ), or smelly then this is a sign of infection
is she scratching them at all?
