I pulled a weed without any gloves, not realizing it had TONS of really tiny thorns on it. It hurt REALLY bad where my fingers got pricked. It felt like a thousand bees stung me. Now, it doesn't have the same intense pain, but instead I keep feeling this prickling sensation going through my hand.
Any suggestions or advice? (Besides to wear gloves next time!)

The weed was about a foot and a half tall...lots of green leaves that were pointy looking with jagged edges. This happened almost two hours ago and I soaked it in water, which helped.

get a magnifying glass and take a good look with a bright light I'd guess you will find some of the little thorns still in there...I've done that. then take a tweezers and pull them out then dump some alcohol over the effected area... that should do it ....but clean it with alcohol again the next day also...

I know this is going to sound really funny
but get some gray duck tape - you know the real strong stuff AKA "100mile an hour" tape
take some and sick it to your hand and pull it off real fast
the thorns will stick to the tape. Its best to do it in small areas and just rip it off like you would a band-aid but just make sure its good and stuck to your hands. After that put peroxide on your hands twice a day until all pain is gone and your hands are back to normal...
And wear gloves next time :)

Go out and get one of the leaves and research it on the internet. You may need to go to the hospital if it is some kind of poisonous weed. I don't think you should have any prickling sensation in your hand. That doesn't sound good to me.

Do you know what kind of weed it was ? Do some research on-line if you remember what the weed was.If you have concerns take yourself to the doctor along with a sample of the weed.

It is possible some the thorns are still there, try using some strong tape such as duck tape and use the sticky side to pat the affected area....this is the method we use were I work with glass insulation to get it out f our skin when we can not see it....

find a doc leaf and rub that on, you could also soak your hand in milk it takes the sting away, i used to use it for ant bites because milk is alkaline and the bite was acidic and it neutralized it, i also found this worked for being prickled.
