she has not been spayed is 10 years old. In general good health. She is an indoor cat as well. 3 days ago she started to act distantly more so than before. Yesterday I noticed a secreation from her female half, today she still has that and now her eyes are excreting pinkish fluid. she is peeing and drinking water but will not eat. She is also trying to go out doors, something she has never done. She is an indoor cat.
Any help would be appreciated.

What's wrong with her is she's ten years old and not spayed. And now there's a 'secretion' coming from her vulva - she probably has pyometra, which is the fate of 1 in 10 cats and dogs that have not been spayed. Pyometra, as you presumably don't know, is a uterine infection that usually results from years and years of unproductive heats. It's usually fatal if left untreated and no, you can't treat it with 'home remedies'.

Keeping a cat indoors does not keep it safe from illness. PLEASE take the cat to a vet to find out what is wrong. Certainly no one here can diagnose the problem. The only thing that is certain is that she's ill and needs medical attention.

First of all, you should always have your female cats spayed. By not spaying her, she is at a huge risk for cancer. If she has ever had kittens, that could postpone it but you should spay her right away.

I would take her to the vet right away.

Your kitty needs a vet as soon as possible. She may be trying to get out to find a place to hide until she is well or dies. I wouldn't wait if she were my cat.

If her water drinking habits increase and her consistancy to use the litterbox then she may have diabetes or hyprothyrodism.
