You know its a thought, that might be the only way Hornish Jr can get in a race the way things have been for him so far...Don't know if they will do this but hey, you never know.. I'm not a dodge fan, but I know Sam Hornish Jr and his wife, I'd like to see him atleast get into a race this yr.. He is definitely struggling to get into a race.. Sorry Sam this isn't open wheel..

I agree with JB. Its obvious that Sam is having problems adjusting to a stock car. I thought he had been running Busch races and wasn't doing much there either. Honestly I think Newman or Busch would have little trouble putting a Penske car in the field even without the top 35 rule. I think its Sam that's the problem with getting that car in.

No....that's not right!!!!
Hornish needs to do it on his own...not ride in on pts. earned by another driver!!!
My husband is a Newman fan...My brother is a Kurt Busch fan....so its all about Penske for them.....they say the same thing..Hornish is gonna do just fine on his own,he is a good enough driver and will qualify well .......he doesnt need to take advantage of someone else's points!!!
GO HARVICK & RCR!!!

How 'bout if Sam Hornish learns to drive a stock car in Busch East, ARCA, Busch Series (sorry, Nationwide series), or late models at a local track before we put him in the car that Rusty made famous and Kurt busted his tail to earn. How 'bout he actually qualifies a car?

Yep, he drives a NASCAR Car of Tomorrow Class A stockcar with Dodge Charger decals applied all over it. Just an opinion as always.

Just because he can drive a 1500 pound car at 200 don't mean he can drive a 3400 pound car at 200. He's had some good luck in open wheel and some of the other open wheel drivers are coming to NASCAR are having luck, don't mean he (Sam) or all open wheel drivers are real race car (NASCAR) drivers.

I a little surprised at how much Sudden Sam has struggled to get in. But you can just see during qualifying how he's struggled to drive a different kind of car.
