Definitely beyond a 10. I have only been working for a month, but the previous employees left a mess, the job is coordination of services given to adults with developmental disabilities so there are daily crises, which means I don't really have time to work on the previous messes, or I have to focus on cleaning those up which takes the focus off the current issues. Which means I will never get caught up. And it really really really really makes me mad that so many people work in the field just to get a paycheck. If you don't care for these people, you can't give them the attention they need and they end up having issues that become reasons for the state protective services to get called in. We have had about five direct care staff terminated just in the month that I've worked! Thats how bad its been. I go home and worry about the individuals that I have been assigned. I wake up at night worried about them. And I have two kids in special education, and a husband and I am taking masters degree classes all during this time too. I could just cry.

On a scale of one to ten I was at 10 last week until I resigned. I only have 15 months experience in the property. I was working 7 days a week usually 10 - 12 hours a day.

I had to manage 3 buildings with over 400 studios/rooms. I was doing this single handed. My assistant manager who happens to be my boss's brother was a nightmare as he would be in bed at 2pm. No assistance to me what so ever.
So I decided to have my resignation letter on my boss's desk once he arrived back from his holiday.

So right now.... no stress at all. Well until I start hunting for a job.

10+..... I've lost 2 assistants, taken on their work and keep being given even more to do.... However I've recently put my foot down and am passing stuff on to other managers. It kinda worked but I am still looking for another job in the meantime.

I have decided that what I cannot do during the day will have to wait, I used to work late and come in on weekends and now I don't. It actually feels so much better.
