First He would ask us not to judge them.
Then he would remind us that we are to love our neighbors.
Homosexuals are our neighbors too.
Love and blessings Don

When the people who wrote the bible made there picks and choices of what scripture goes into the bible they were then a very primitive society. We still 2000yrs later believe and do the things that people did back then.. Even homosexuality is a cause for debate even today. Tell even grasp the thought that it was acceptable 2000yrs ago is just as likely as it is in today's so called modern world.......Not being a homo I would say that the masses in the time of Christ would and he himself would look down upon it as does the church today.
I say to each his own and mind your business as to who people lay down with....and or give there heart too. Who are we to judge anyone most of us can't even take care of our own self let alone be concerned about what some else is doing. If each individual would be more concerned with him/herself then the world might just be a better place.

Jesus said "This is the one commandment above all others that ye shall love one another as yourselves". The old testament warnings against homosexuality pertained to ancient cultures in which it was strongly frowned upon. Words and teachings in the bible are not straight out of God's mouth. Divinely inspired writings are certainly included therein but not all of it is even spiritual material. Some of it is simply lists of ancestors and some is simply the writing down of proscriptions against behaviors which they felt did not help their communities at that time.

This is what I have been talking about, you call yourselves followers of Jesus, but you have no idea, what he spoke, you rely on the traditions of men to tell you, Jesus said I have foretold you all things, but you do not believe His Words.
Moses, the prophets, Peter and Paul spoke their own words.
Jesus did speak directly on homosexuality in Luke 17:34-37
I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
and in Matthew 12:43-45, homosexuality is not a sin, lusting, is the sin.

What we call Jesus or God may just be a reflection of our deep heart. No, I'm not arguing about His existence, but trying to say what is more important is what you yourself really think. See, there are quite many "Christian gays", they can find their support also from Christian doctrine in their view, right? The stance of the Bible can not be more explicit: it's against it. But a Christian like SF Mayor can just try to legalize gay marriage! People don't care what Jesus says. They tend to believe "Jesus says so" if they themselves think so, and "Jesus didn't say so" or "He didn't mean that" if they themselves are against the idea.

I think he would have said "what part of love thy neighbor do you not understand?".
For those who feel Jesus felt the same way as God about all issues, does that mean Jesus condoned beating your slaves as long as they didn't die immediately?

Yes, He would have reminded his listeners that His Father sent Angels to help Lot and his daughter's Flee from the City of Sodom & Gomorrah in which Sexual appetites were way off the scales. He would also have asked his listeners" What did My Father ultimately do to those Cities?". Asked and Answered.

I think he would have said, "Love is never wrong. Those of you who want to interfere in other people's love lives should mind your own f---cking business."
