Dear, you are mistaken. Jesus was literate, Muhammad was the one who couldn't read nor write.

Jesus was literate. Here is an instance in the scriptures where He read.

Luke 4:16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:
18 “ The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”

20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.
21 And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

The gospels record Jesus reading from the scriptures in the synagogue at Nazareth, and writing in the sand, at Jerusalem.

Well heres a question for you. If Jesus wasn't smart. how was it he was able to fix things? Or how was it he can answer simple question, that no other man could?
How was he able to have knowledge of the scriptures.? How was he able to remember everything that was set before him.?
How could he answer the questions put before him by the educated and scholars of his time.?
And how is it, the priest of his time could not answer his questions.? So who out smarted who?.

You don't think he could read? Explain to me how, as a boy of 12, he was found by his parents sitting in the Temple reading the Torah with the teachers of the law and how he stood and read from Isaiah when he announced that he was the fulfillment of the prophecy.

What would make you think he couldn't? Most people in those times could read and write in Greek, Latin and their native tongue. It was a time of great learning in all the roman lands.

Who says he couldn't? Although alot of people in those days most probably did not. Unless you're taught to, you don't know how. He was smart in teaching people about God, nobody says he was a genius, he was just teaching people about God, not about Maths or English.
