I brush my teeth twice a day, morning and night, and i eat mints and chew minty gum a lot. But I still cant shift my bad breath, its ok after brushing but after around 20 minutes or so it goes bad again. Is there anything to make it better? Any special toothpaste or anything?

mints and gums only mask the odor, you have to get to the root of the problem. one of the causes of bad breath is the plaque bacteria that thrives on calculus (tartar on your teeth) and food stuck between your teeth that have been there in while. you should have your teeth cleaned if you haven't had it cleaned in a while. no tooth paste, mouthwash or mints can take away the odor.

Gargle a cup of lukewarm water mixed with salt or half a lemon juice.This is best done before going to bed. .Chew parsley leaves,which are sure to keep your breath fresh. More useful remedies at http://useinfo5.blogspot.com/

You need to see a dentist quick. Bad breath is associated with gum disease, or rotten teeth.

Do you brush your tongue? Most bad breath is a result of sulfides on the tongue. If you do, consult with your doctor;

Try rinsing with something like Listerine. There is still bacteria hiding in places you can't reach and that's what stinks.
