Updos are great, but you have to set aside a good 30 bucks for even a partial one.

I have way brown hair that's just past my shoulders, really thick. I love a straightened side part. Changing your part (while it's wet) is a quick easy way to change your hairstyle especially when you're on a deadline time limit.

For short hair, you can wax the ends, and make them point up and that's cute.... hmm what else?

I also like messy buns, pony tails with a twist (tease your hair before pulling it back, then coming it lightly) and pigtails are always fun.

You can tell the hairstylist that you want hair like whatever picture you find in whatever book and it will NEVER turn out exactly how you pictured it in you mind. 2. You get what you pay for. 3. Explain what you want out of your cut for every day life, also make it clear the things you don't like and the things you do like.
In my lifetime every time I just pick a picture out of a book I am never at satisfied as I expected. Finally I started opening up and telling every detail of what my likes and dislikes and wants were and I haven't been disappointed yet. Go over it in your head so you don't leave anything out. I have also found this makes it easier for the stylist also. Hope you get what you are looking for!

well i have what alot of ppl call a scene haircut where its like textured at the top and long at the bottom and the ends are light and everything else is dark but not alot of people have it and its kinda scary when you do it cause its a big change but after ur done your like OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH YEAAAAAAAAAAAA
