no!!! - call a dealer to find out what fluid - probly atf4

Probably not. Most gears have such close tolerances nowadays that thick oil is not used. My 4x4 uses ATF +4 same as the transmission. If you have a manual transmission, it probably uses some type of synthetic oil.
Check your manual, or call the local dealer.

no!!!! call your dealer chrysler wants special fluid in these and they have a chart that tells you what to use, this is a expensive truck it would suck to ruin the tranfer case
