The fact is that we don't really know what Jesus looked like and people follow him and His teachings because of who He is ... Not what he looked like.

Irrelevant...I believe that the instant he returns, the opportunity to accept him ends! He isn't coming back to win more converts...that was the 1st coming. At the second coming, he will, in the blink of an eye, take all that followed him and then will pour out God's wrath on everyone else!
I don't have a problem with overweight people...my mom was seriously overweight my entire life until cancer reduced her to skin and bones at the end of her life.

Of course I would! I don't care what he looks like, he's done so much for us that it doesn't matter. I'm not the skinniest most beautiful person but he still accepts me. : )
