CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

1/2 c. butter
16 chicken drumsticks
Salt and pepper (I use garlic salt)
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. water
Packaged potato flakes

Melt butter in a 9x13 baking pan. Season drumsticks. Mix egg and water together in a shallow pan. Dip drumsticks in egg mixture and then roll them in potato flakes. Place them in the baking pan and bake for one hour at 300 degrees. Turn drumsticks once during baking.

You can also use less chicken drumsticks.

How about picnic chicken? My mom made this for me as a kid and I still make it to this day. She probably got the recipe out of woman's day magazine or something.

Season your drumsticks with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Dip into an egg and milk mixture and then into Ritz crackers that have been crushed fine. Line them up on a baking sheet and brush each one with melted butter. Sprinkle again with some paprika. Cook as usual. What makes these nice is the 'sauce' you serve them with. All it is is salt, pepper, plain yogurt, and diced cucumber. You can either dip the chicken into it or dollop it on top.

In a bowl add:
2tbl brown sugar
2 tbl chopped garlic
2 tbl oil
S&P
seasoning either Italian or cajun
Mix together and dredge the chicken thru them and put on a lined bakig tray. Add any remaining mixture to the baking try.

Bake at 425 degrees for 30-40 minutes...if you want them real crispy put under the broiler for 3-5 minutes.
ENJOY

Heat oil in a skillet. While it is heating.. dredge the drumsticks in flour and salt and pepper mixture. When oil is heated.. fry on both sides until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

one of the most easiest things is to pour a bit of your fav bbq sauce on them, you could bake it right away (for about 1 lb of meat, i'd cook it 350 degrees for at least 40 minutes).
Or if you have the time to do this, before baking the chicken, you could let it sit in some bbq sauce for 1 or more hours in the fridge, marinating.
after baking, you can pour some more extra sauce on it .
i'd serve with rice or potato dish, as well i would serve with some other veggies of your choice or salad.

Bake in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes, covered.
Then drain all liquid and slather BBQ sauce on them, turn oven to 450, and cook 15 more minutes, turning once halfway through.

Yum, what time are we eating?

first you get a big ziplock or two clean grocery store bags . if you use a ziplock just add flour and the seasonings that you want , with two grocery store bags put one inside the other and add flour and seasoning . then you shake it up . get a skillet hot with about 1 1/2 cup of oil . after it gets hot fry until golden brown .

You can put some seasoning salt pepper and flour and if you want buttermilk on it and fry it until it isn't pink anymore and it isn't too juicy. Or you can simply bake them in a pan with a little oil, or put some basil, thyme, rosemary, garlic, olive oil, some people put lemon and bake it until it isn't too juicy or pink.
