I think he'll hold us accountable for all the ways in which we wasted the resources he gave us. That doesn't mean he won't forgive us for our mistakes, but when it is time to hand out rewards, the people that used their resources to serve him will receive much greater rewards than those that squandered them. In terms of the environment, those that respected it...that tread lightly and only took what they needed will receive greater blessings than those that exploited it or harmed it...the latter already received their "rewards" (profit, convenience, whatever) on earth!

That's like saying will God hold us accountable for stealing.
If we have learned from wrong and right and we choose not to do it there should be no problem. The things is though a lot of people do no realize how just throwing bottles and glass out the window or in the ocean can really have an effect on nature. And that is what God created.

I certainly hope so. We are all, believers and non believers alike, responsible for the enviornment. We wont know until we die if there is a God or not, but at that point, it wont matter.
We're here right now and we all know what we should and shouldnt do. We shouldnt need to have a higher power to report to. Some of us do more than others. I believe in God and dont belittle other people if they dont have the same beliefs. Kind of wish everyone felt that way.

I think when God comes back he will be so impressed with the thousands of beautiful, comfortable, many multi-million dollar churches we have built and the fancy cars the ministers drive that he will forget about all the bad things we have done to the planet and the fact that most all have blatantly ignored the teachings of Jesus Christ. Yes sir, we will all go out to meet him in our sunday best, hopefully the homeless will all have died of some plague by then, we will broadcast the event on Trinity Broadcast Network. God will look over their financial records and say well done. He will then send all of the poor, sick, meek, homeless and downtrodden straight to hell.

CCC 2415 - The seventh commandment enjoins respect for the integrity of creation. Animals, like plants and inanimate beings, are by nature destined for the common good of past, present, and future humanity. Use of the mineral, vegetable, and animal resources of the universe cannot be divorced from respect for moral imperatives. Man's dominion over inanimate and other living beings granted by the Creator is not absolute; it is limited by concern for the quality of life of his neighbor, including generations to come; it requires a religious respect for the integrity of creation.

How can GOD hold us accountable for anything when HE, the AWESOME GOD, lets so much crap go on down here that shouldnt be going on. For instance::::: CHILDREN are bought and sold on the black market EVERY day for sex.. If there was a god i think he would be a little more concerned about that. dont you?

At Armageddon, Jehovah will not ruin our globe in a cataclysmic conflagration. Rather, he will “bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”—Revelation 11:18.
Hope that answers your Question.

No, no, no, no. That isn't a sin. God will not condemn us for that!. But when we do sin (which isn't pollution) all we have to do is pray and ask God if He will forgive us. Asking God to be our Savior lets us into heaven, not good works.
