BUILDING a hearse is done by a COACH BUILDER who specializes in nothing but hearses and limos. In years past, Cadillac would build the extended frame and install the driveline and front sheetmetal. All of the rest of the stock Cadillac sheetmetal was crated up and sent with the frame to the coachbuilder who would modify some stock parts and scratch-build other parts.
What are you attempting to build into a hearse? Is there at least 7 feet from the back of the front seat to the rearmost portion of the trunk? Is there at least 36 inches between the rear wheel tubs? Without knowing most of this, helping you will be difficult. Contact me directly and I can be loads more help...

1) Buy your base vehicle.
2) Get yourself 5-10 years experience in vehicle modification and coach-building.
3) Build your hearse.
