That is a question I'll just have to ask God when I see him. We as humans are not smart enough to answer a question like that.

I'm Christian. I'm also a mathematician/scientist.
I believe that dinosaurs roamed the earth for quite some time. Yes, basically they just roamed around doing dinosaur stuff. Not really building anything. Not really gathering together in any kind of dinosaur civilization. Don't even think that dinosaurs built a boat. Or had a written language. Whatever.
Why did God make the dinosaurs? Perhaps to give doubters and unbelievers a very, very, very slender thread to hand onto while rejecting the covenant of the New Testament for the salvation of their eternal souls thru His Son, Jesus.
Ask Him on Judgment Day. Uh, that is, unless you have more important matters on your mind at the time.

If they can correctly date them, i would believe. Carbon Dating something of a known age is inaccurate at best. Dating something of an unknown age is supposed to be accurate? Dinosaurs (dragons before 1841) were lizards that lived with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Lizards never stop growing, so how big would they get in 900 years? How do you explain the celeocanth? Or other living dinosaurs?

Most every creature was brought here from other places in the galaxy and evolved here. Where do you think you came from?
Earth was like a resort and was treated like a zoo. Everyone was proud of their animals and liked to visit earth to see how their animals were doing. Some creatures even resembled themselves. Dis you ever see a Cat person walking on two legs upright. There is a book called, The Cat People. Some beings, think were brought her like the dinos because they didn't want them on their planet, but this is all stuff. Who Knows if it is true.

Gosh... I wonder if any of the creation scientists, (i.e., fakers,) have considered that it might have been a part of God's intelligent design to use dinosaurs as earth compactors...? They're heavy and broad footed so that might have been their God given purpose. Oh yeah, ... and think of all the dung they'd add to the top soil.
So that's it then... Right !
