Adam and Eve were fictional, therefore write your answer into the story and you will have it as you wish it to be. Logically, if they existed they would not have navels since that is a scar left by cutting the umbilical cord.

No one can say for sure,God may well have created them with navals as they would represent the rest of humanity in their physical forms.
